I was looking at the sets that NECA is making these days to photograph their new Aliens figures against, and I felt inspired. This hallway diorama is made mostly from black 1" foamcore with some balsa wood rods and a few bits from the parts bin glued around. I painted it first with spray paint and then detailed and weathered it with acrylics and silver Sharpie. The caution striping was made as horizontal black and yellow stripes in Paint, printed and then cut into diagonal strips. I really like making dioramas. I'm definitely going to be doing more in the future. I hope you like this one. Let me know what you think.
That is really cool! Better than what I threw together for my Neca Aliens! ....Now you just need to make a powerloader exoskeleton for them to hang out around! Haha...!
Nice! I'd been wanting to get that Hudson figure for a while because i love his perfectly done "Its game over man!" face, but now that I saw the new Alien queen figure coming soon I have to get him to go with her!
Thanks guys! It is a tank turret- along with a chunk if engine, a Mega Block, part of a book light, and a few feet of wire. I have some articulated hose around here somewhere. That's going to go across the top when I find it.
I really like this... will be great to have some Joes in the picture as well (an Alien vs GI Joe crossover)
Thanks, but considering that Joes are only 3 3/4" tall and the aliens are about 9", the scale might be a little off.
