But why though? Axe a kickass repaint/remould that's an obscure but awesome character for the same thing with less paint? That makes no sense...

Really nice work. Would love to see some more photos of the robot mode, from all angles.

Very nice! I've been looking out for a KO Wheeljack to try a toon deco on myself. I thought the Takara real life livery was way too busy... but, seeing the bare white alt mode here I kind of appreciate the paint apps more. Maybe it needs some panel lining or weathering or something.

Bot mode is where this wins though, it makes him much more like the character we knew in the cartoon. He's gonna look even better with grey parts instead of black. I'd say get rid of the white paint/rear light on the back of the hands too, that's something that's always bugged me about TT's design. Oh and paint the wheel hubs silver too.

Great work on the light up ears! :thumb

KO seems to be due fairly soon. Might pick one up for the mod, since my painting skills aren't up for a repaint of this scale.

I hate to be bothersome, but I'm still extremely curious how you achieved the wiring/lighting mod. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
