This little mold made for a pretty naf Megatron, but I suspected he could make a decent updated Cosmos, and it turns out I was right. This is my first try with acrylic paint, and while I'm not crazy about the dull finish, I can see why a lot of people like using it.
This is utterly brilliant. Bravo sir, bravo. Cosmos is in my top 10 favorite Transformers ever, and if this was mass produced you could guarantee id be buying it. Great job
This is genius. Personally, I think the flat finish looks best in most cases, but if you want to gloss it up, Future floor polish makes a great finish coat. You can modify the glossiness of it by mixing some flat acrylic base in with it to get just about any level of sheen you want.
Most creative, ingenious, intuitive custom of a great long while. I'm jealous of its place in your collection. How's working with this mold? Seems like there'd be a lot of rub spots.
I wouldn't have considered using that mold for Cosmos, but it looks great. Nice idea and great execution. It's the coolest Roller I've seen: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/995569-deluxe-roller.html
This is awesome! I've been wanting a nice Cosmos figure for the longest time. I'm not too hot on the new legends version, and I ended up resorting to the Igear UFO. If I had seen your custom beforehand, I would have totally attempted something similar to this. Brilliant work!
not bad, gives a good alternative to the classic UFO with the second common UFO shape, a triangle, could definitely be a brighter green though.
