Thanks for the compliments. But yeah, it truely is a labor of love. A TON of work and time dedicated to this project.

And while I would love a 3rd party offer, I'd just be happy to see one tackle this and a multitude of other iconic 80's vehicles. A whole 80's MP line! An 80's MP combiner! A-Team van and Mystery Machine as the body, General Lee and BTTF Delorean arms, KITT and Mad Max car OR Batmobile as legs...I really think a 3rd party comp could seriously clean up with an 80's line.

I really have no interest in commissions. Waaaaaaay too time consuming. Time costs a lot of money and I just don't feel comfortable charging people what I think my time is worth. Plus, like I said earlier in the thread, while I'm confident posting pictures, I'm not as confident sending work off for others to judge in hand. Sorry.

This is definitely the best Delorean custom I’ve seen. So much detail and the robot mode doesn’t seem to have much kibble either.

 

I’d happily pay the additional markup prices for well engineered & articulated crossover toys versus the limited mobility and weird proportions Ectotron ended up with.

 

And Takara already has the base figure/transformation concept for this as @G.I.EDDIE used the MP Prowl mold for this custom and just reshelled it.

 

Looks awesome! I really like how you worked out the doors.
