So then, I like AoE Strafe, he has an awesome imposingly big dino mode, and a cool characterful bot mode, but one thing I really didn't like about him was his legs in ptera' mode. They are far too big, don't bend right, and just don't look very good either in a flying pose or a quadrapedal stance. It was as I was fiddling with him for the umpteenth time to try and make those legs look half way decent, I realised that under the big clumpy, spikey boot shins, there's a decent pair of proper digitigrade legs that would make his beast mode perfect, if only that boot wasn't in the way... Couple of warnings before attempting this mod; 1. It does turn Strafe into a parts former. 2. It involves flexing the sides of his lower leg outwards when removing his leg and transforming. I created a split and caused mucho stress marks on mine, but I was also being impatient and not using the proper tools when removing the pins and ended up yanking the legs off causing more stress than was actually necessary. Take your time, remove the pin properly. They are particularly stubborn ones. So to give Strafe proper Pteranodon legs; First remove the pin that holds the lower leg and dino foot on. Like I say this is a stubborn pin, and as the lower leg is hollow take care when knocking it out. The rough end of the pin is on the outside of the leg. Once the pin's out, put the leg to one side and reattach just the dino foot exactly as it was using the same pin. Make sure that there's a mm or so of the rough end still sticking out. Now cut down the smooth side of the pin using cutters or a junior hacksaw, again so that there is a mm or so of the pin sticking out from the side of the foot. You're now done, Strafe has proper dino legs, and you can reattach his boots for bot mode by sliding them on so that it clips on to the protruding ends of the pin via the original pin holes. This means that you do need to flex the hollow leg outwards a bit so as I said above, watch that you don't stress it too much. I may cut channels for the pins to slide through to reduce that stress. When you're done, beast mode looks like this; You can store the boots alongside his body when his wings are spread by sort of wedging them in like so; Or, I enlarged one of the pin holes on each leg to allow them to attach to the crossbow, like so; I haven't got any pics of bot mode, as you can't see any difference. Once his legs are clipped back on he can stand and everything just the same as he ever could, just bear in mind that that joint will be looser than it was before. I'm going to work something out to make it more solid at some point, but it's just fine as it is for now. If anything it would make him more prone to rock backwards, but he's got a cape and tails behind him to prevent that being too much of an issue.
Nice, I'm more tempted to pick him up with that mod! too bad it's a bit beyond my range of comfort yet, I'm not good with pin removal.

I did it, and it looks great.... Ill use it when I'm not using the stand I made.. Your mod makes the figure look 80 percent better in Beastmode
