Would think that the voyager head might not work for transformation. Not a lot of room in there unless you make it removable.

As for thet spoiler I knew I was cutting that thing off when I did my Bludgeon custom. Just makes the car's profile look better IMO. But I think there is just no way to get it all the way flush though.

Thing is with this mold you kinda want to make two. One to keep in each mode.  

 

Looks leaps and bounds better than than stock. Shaving the wing down just makes it perfect.

 

And you get a spare helicopter TF body in cool colours and two huge swords for something else.  

Also, I noticed on yours' head that you left the helmet behind the crest gold, when it should be black/blue.

As I understand it, the cavity the head goes into may need to be widened. Though not as much if the sculpted neck is removed.

I dunno, so few have tried it. It seems like it'd be worth it, though. For the ultimate Drift.

 

I see what you mean about the helmet and I will fix that in 2 seconds with 2 dabs of super dark blue.   Thanks for pointing it out.

I still have 2 Skyhammers so the cool blue helicopter body would still be pretty useless to me. Maybe if I find one on clearance some day.

 

No argument here, it just doesn't look as good with the spoiler up. But it actually has a bunch of different settings, one of which leaves it up even when the car is parked. I got to see one at a car show over the summer, and I actually had my deluxe Drift with me at the time. The spoiler on the toy is accurate, albeit simplified. I can see why they did it, though. Had they made the gap between the two spoilers like the real car, it would probably break right off.

 

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. They really show what I've said about the car being a pearlescent black/blue, and not so much specifically blue or black. Neat how the fibers under the sleek gloss clear black show the brilliant blue underneath. I don't think it can really be replicated perfectly on the figure, but I guess that's just one of the many reasons it is a 3million dollar car.
That's possibly the coolest looking color Ive ever seen on anything.

 

No kidding. It's gorgeous. Drift even has the exact same colour effect in robot mode.

 

Yeah its really noticeable in the night scene after they all meet up. Great job CGI team.
