The first time I saw this combination on here I thought that it was the base for a fantastic version of Ultra Magnus.
This was a nightmare to get hold of as living in the UK most of my transformers come from Kapow and EBay. I'm so glad that I did this and I hop that you like it as much as I do.

That is brilliant, unusual jet alt mode. Cloud magnus, after all thats the current random repaints line. Not sure what the kreon is there for. Ambus maybe? I'm not sure who ambus is but i see him crop up in relation to magnus quite a lot. Like i say brilliant.

 

WHAT???? that would be perfect for a Overlord custom!! *drool*

I like it, but I can't help thinking that there is a better body to use that isn't Skyhammer. Just my two cents though.

In MTMTE, Minimus Ambus (I think that's his "full" name) takes the Magnus Armor set (What all Magnai wear when they receive the title) after the real Ultra Magnus dies & impersonates him to keep morale up. In addition to this, Minimus is a Loadbearer (a green spark, which happens about once in every 1000 forges), so he's suited for the job.

Minimum Ambus is the latest (and last) in a line of point one percenters (of which load bearers are a type of) who wear the Magnus armor to act as enforcers of the Rest accord.

 

Fucking sorcery. How does it work?

 

The Core figure (the jet) turns into a torso that has four bright blue pegs. These pegs can connect to the part that the Mobine breaks up into. The Mobine (the name of the official product which Dough-Bot painted) can break apart into arms, feet legs, hands, and some weapons for Ultra Magnus.

That's amazing! To have such a massive shift of alt mode yet still feel/look in both bot n alt mode so spot on UM is super-skilled.

 

Would have never thought of this. Good job making it feel like UM!

Genius use of base toys to make this wonderfully imaginative re-imagining of Ultra Magnus.  

 

Blashphemy! JK   This is quite awesome. The paint work and the heavy panel-lines give a nice "toon" appearance that really works with the figure. Very creative and great execution. Kudos!

the only way this could be better (not that its bad) is if you had used the huffer/crancase mold for the torso.

 

nice
