Pretty, pretty. Is that the final color for those pieces or are you going for something brighter over that?
Nope, final except for washing and accent colors. Trying to go for differentiation between the chrome parts, and ones that would be polished aluminum. Just want to break up the monotony a bit. These are much brighter than they look, I think they're reflecting the black from the parts jig.
Thank you guys, it's been a labor of love with this one. Adding a couple more pics of the progress now.
Wow, I love the paints you are using. He is shaping up to be one of the best MP-10's I have seen so far, right up there with Xeltecon's.
Thanks man. I still go back and look at his every now and then, that figure is the reason I bought one in the first place, and why I continue to try harder to improve on my own work. I think I've looked at it a few dozen times, definitely set the bar for MP10, hands down. Thank you sir, I have to say in terms of prep and finish work I've never spent more time before this figure. I think I started mixing paint 2-3 months before I even started, and that was in June.... Thanks man, I'm chomping at the bit, I actually have been restraining myself from touching this more than once a week. Seems to be working on my end, I'm not so opposed to 4hr+ masking sessions when I finally get around to them.
