I try to keep some type of schedule going, loosely of course, so I can dedicate the proper amount of time needed to the project on the schedule at the moment. For example, I am writing and drawing short stories for my graphic novel, but since I am still writing out the stories, I give more time to that aspect than the drawings at the moment. I use my "drawing time" for character study, story boarding and such, not so much towards making the final panels. That will come after the majority of the writing is done, then I'll switch priorities. I'll dedicate more time to drawing and inking, and only use my "writing" time for editing and lettering.
All the while I divide my kitbashing time is a similar fashion. I'll spend more time "imagineering" a project at the beginning and less time with tools in hand. That get's reversed as well near the middle, when you are spending more time doing the mods, while considering things like paint and details all the while.I also have to juggle things like utilizing daytime to my advantage, because I work at home from my garage, and need to have the daylight.
Basically I tell you this because it seems we have similar interests and need to divide our days up in a similar way. Definitely allow time for every aspect of your life, creative, professional, and personal. When you have no kitbashes going on, you can extend your writing or drawing time to fill the available "shift", and vice versa.
Oh, and every once in a while eat and get some sleep! I eat a lot, but I can get by with about 4-5 hours of sleep a day, then my brain gets too active and I have to get up! | I hear ya, big hank. I do manage my time, but sometimes well you already knew that. So I take my time of things to rethink stuff so that I didn't miss anything so if I do it and make a mistake I'll get pissed..I have a short fuse temper..you know. But I do other things to keep my sanity from going off to the side and it helps. As you said I need to manage some of my time wisely and thank god for saving daylight time it we turn back the clock one hour that way I get an extra hour to do stuff, but this all depends on my mood..I'm pretty lazy, but I bet everyone here does have that sometimes. So thanks, bh for that slice of wisdom of yours. Team Metal Member: Metal Shadow |

Well where do I start. It's winter time up here in the great white north, which means I'm now on shift work.
I'm a Landscaper in the warm months & a Autobody/Snowplow/Salter driver in the cold months.
Sadly this does not leave me alot of time to bash in the winter as I'm working crazy hours.
Other then that the only other BIG thing going on in my life right now is,
My wife is 5 weeks pregnant with our first child. I'm so excited & scared all at the same time.
It still has not totally sunk in yet that I'm going to be a Dad.
I'm really hoping for a Lil Nemesis Predaqueen. | Yay!! Nemy's gonna be a dad! Your gonna do a great job, man!
Well, since I have been laid off, I dived head first into customizing and commissions, and have been slammed!!! Thanks to everyone that helped me generate some business. Im still accepting freelance work from my old company, as well as doing some drawing again (it's been a while.)
And, of course being a daddy is a full time gig!
I have a awesome son, but there is something about a lil girl, man! She'll have you wrapped around your finger too, Nemy!! |

That's why I began to think about coming back to Spain (now I'm living in Mexico with my wife). It's not an easy task, because as a mexican my wife will be separated from her family (as I am right now), but if we are going to have children I want the best for them, and I think that living in Europe is better than living in Mexico.
Bad things:
- What if my wife feel sad and lonely in Spain?
- I have to find a job in Spain.
- We have to leave almost everything (our home, furniture, collection of Transformers).
Good things:
- A better future for us and our children, because of job conditions, lower taxes, Social Security, lower crime rate.
I don't know what to do, but I feel that we have to go to Spain. It's the same sensation that I had when I left Spain and come to Mexico. Call it fate, call it inspiration, call it God, but I feel it.
Any advices are welcome. PRAISE PAUL PRIME |

I know is tough, but the easy way isn't always the right way. It sucks to be from different countries, but it's like a miracle that we are together. PRAISE PAUL PRIME |

I'd say Spain's sounds better.even though you'd leave your TFs behind. but then again, I'd bet you'd get some serious cash for them if you were to sell 'em.Whichever place you'd choose, dude, you'll still have each other! |
