Just to keep you updated It's almost impossible for these site to give a quote from USA to UK and as I mentioned before the stupid things don't give me american parcel sites in search results as google knows i'm in the Uk.

So what I'm having to do is write to them all one at a time with the detail and ask them for quotes - so I'll let you know as they arrive - The quotes from the Uk to USA are all way cheaper than any you found though - so I hope the opposite is true too.

I'll let you know as I get replies.

If your agreeable I was going to suggest we start a thread someplace on the board and see if anyone's got any tips that can help us ?

Thanks for the dimensionsm I'll have a trawl through all the Uk reduced shipping sites and see what comes up this end - odd though as consdering we are supposed to be paying 20% VAT on the fuel and service cost it should be more money... I'll let you know what I find out.

Any info on condition and if items are new or opened or if they've been painted of modified at all might be welcome too. - I have to ask this after I've bought things to only find someone had done things to items like rub some of the paint off or attack items with a dremil. so I find it best to ask from then on.
