So anywho, itunes couldn't read the contents of my phone, so I had to restart it to factory defaults which took like 40 minutes of me being pissed off and then there was some sort of fucked uppery my computer wasn't authorized to transfer my stuff back (also, I found all this out while I was trying to sync everything so I didn't lose any of my game progress. which didn't end up happening.) so somehow after 20 minutes of pulling my hair out I fix this and start to sync everything which took a good 30 minutes and then I get a call which started the sync over again for some reason.
WHY IS IT SO FUCKING HARD TO PUT AN SD CARD SLOT ON THIS THING!? I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH ANY OF THIS SHIT IF THERE HAD BEEN AN SD CARD SLOT! GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!
but aside from that and the lack of flash support, the iphone is the best phone I've ever owned.
