I think it's more in regards to how certain characters look, for me. I don't like Helix's new look, for one.
Least favorite so far. The main series was okay at best, I rolled my eyes at various aspects. No, Snake Eyes also hurt. The other two series, Special Mission and The Cobra Files, were much better, I think because they were by the previous series writers. Ironic that I think something written by Costa was good.
Sure was. And all the hallmarks of a classic ninja story. Though on a particular note, after playing a substantial role in Volume One, Destro appeared very little in Volume 2. He only had a few appearances.
Cobra Command, the event that's second only to All Hail Megatron, was pretty enjoyable. Primarily due to Krake, the badass new Cobra Commander. And even though Hawk was forced to retire, he does get one final badass moment in the last issue. Oh, and anything with Snake Eyes was great, as always. :)
Yep. Exactly. Lots of Joes die, but almost all of them are unnamed. And the contest participants who weren't classic Cobra characters also died as well. Except for the winner.
I like at as much as the first volume. If not more. The competition within Cobra to determine the new Commander was pretty interesting.
And what's the deal with Revolutionaries? It was supposed to come out this month and yet we haven't even had a preview yet.
I think they set its release date too soon, giving Ossio no break between Revolution and Revolutionaries.
I've decided I'm going to hold off on reading the new G.I. Joe series till I'm done catching up on the previous comics.
Religious brain washing via drugs, strange hallucinations heavily featuring snakes, Croc Master's origin story, brutal recruit or training methods done by Skullbuster, and it ends with the arcs "hero" joining The Coil and being its Human sacrifice. With Serpentor(The Coil's leader) chanting "Cobra-La-La-La-La!!!".
