I dont know that anything would have given the GG side more support only because of the way they were vilified, and it didn't help that some GG's acted like shit flinging monkeys. They should have never gone after Zoe Qiunn the way they had. It should have been about ethics, but they focused on the actions of some nobody woman.

The feminist side doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to the issues, but they do have a bit of a point that some of the Gamers reacted in a sexist manner. And they used those sexist remarks to bolster their weak position, and people will always want to believe a "wounded woman" over a guy.

I like her a lot actually, one of the better female characters Blizzard have managed to produce recently. I just hope they go somewhere with her and don't kill her off or screw her up or both.
