Been away from the boards for awhile and haven't done much custom work either. Having just lost a member of my family in early October (father), I haven't had much interest in anything custom related. Two weeks ago I figured I'd sit down and giver a go. Had an itch to do another re-shell so I grabbed one off my shelf and just started puttering away. This project is still unfinished as it needs some detail work in the feet and the weapons are under construction. What I'm not sure of is whether this one should get the cartoon accurate shoulder cannons that are mounted to his head or the toy version which are separate rocket launchers. The kit used was hard to find as it is based on the actual race car that Smokescreen was molded after. It included the massive air dam and larger rear wing along with a nice set of sponsors. (This one is in actuality was #33) *Updated with weapons and final images. Other images on page 3*
Sorry for your loss. That looks great. Smokescreen was one of my favorites growing up. I say stick to the toy design. Looks better and makes more sense.
Very sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers. That is an absolutely wonderful custom! It looks amazing. Keep up the good work!
Sorry for your loss. Awesome custom. May have to commission someone for one of these when I get my Alternators this week. Originally planned to have a simple repaint, but this gives me second thoughts.
