So I got my FE Bulkhead from bbts. and both the hinges that hold his arms have HUGE stress marks. Should I be worried? Should I get a replacement?

Man, these FE reissues seem to have horrible QC.

This is more concerning to me than Optimus missing some paint.

Show us some pictures please. I sae Matt B's pics already but I'd like to determine if they present breakage potential. Stress marks sometimes are just superficial and don't risk the mold piece.

Gilgamesh already saw it, but here it is anyway.

It is a really thick piece. Thick enough that it seems like it would be really tough to get a stress mark there. I wouldn't have even cared but I think it's what is making Bulkhead's arm slide off when rotated. If I swap the arm onto the other side it's just fine.

Aside from FE Prime missing paint (and so far it looks like all of them), and Bulkhead's arm issue, both are in excellent shape with otherwise great QC. I emailed BBTS asking if they'd just send me the part, since it's not something difficult to replace. I also asked them about Optimus's paint, but I'm not too concerned about that one.

It's such a thick piece that a stress mark is that has almost zero likelihood of making it break. Now, that doesn't mean that the sliding off problem isn't caused by it.

Mine from BBTS is the same. I heated up one peg and got the marks to relax but putting the arm back together made them stress again. It's a really tight fit and it seems that most TFs are being made with really cheap plastic these days. Almost every Prime figure I own has had one piece pop off in transformation, like they are supposed to, but I'm not forcing anything and the parts always show stress marks where they detached. I just assume this is a material issue. Is TRU supposed to carry these with the rest of the FE stuff?

Wow the reissues are low on quality. First the lack of paint on prime and now cheap plastic on bulkhead. I'm glad I got the originals.

I'm OK with Prime lacking the red...but this is pretty sad. I'm extremely glad I got the Takara FE when I did. I'd be pretty upset to get my FE Bulky and see this kind of issue!
