Just those two, but it was labeled as "No Dinobots," so I'm assuming there is one with Dinobots floating around in Hasbro-land that they haven't released yet? idk  

 

All the other Transformers plots had big historical tie-ins. No reason to think this one will be any different. Unicron as an extinction event would work great. Allows for feral dinobots with no factional loyalty, allows for the existence of transformers-like life millions of years prior to the original primes being on earth in RotF, explains what the heck Wahlberg's character found that everybody wants....

I might not have all the details right but I'd bet money that I have the general plot.

 

Totally was. Even that it being small, the other one I was thinking, oh no, that just looks bad. But wel have to wait n see offical images.

 

He finds something crushed I think. I don't think Mark will find Unicron so to speak, but maybe something from him or something that can hurt him. If they keep to history and say Unicron himself caused the extinction as in he was the meteor itself that is said to cause the extinction, than Unicron would still be large but not worldly large. And the reason I say Mark would not find Unicon himself is because historically, that meteor hit off the coast of Mexico by the Yucatan peninsula.

 

Right. So Mark found something tied to unicron...that artifact that he's carrying around. reactivation key or evil version of the matrix or something.

So maybe Unicron is already on earth then, but inactive, sort of like in the Prime cartoon. But Unicron as the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs makes so much sense, and his energies could easily cyberform the dinobots and they are what's found in China...or something.

Like I said, I think I'm right on the general stuff, not the details. We'll see eh?

Wonder if he returns as Megs or reformatted into Galvatron though. If not the latter... expect yet another resurrection in a future movie.

Well, I certainly don't have any inside information - I'm only taking all the little bits and pieces that we've gotten confirmation on so far and finding a way to fit them together.

IF the "megatron returns" thing has anything to do with the movieverse, which at this point is totally up in the air, I would think that Megatron and Starscream are revived by the Decepticons when they get whatever Unicron energy/relic/thingo Mark's character has....and at that point they'd be Galvatron and Cyclonus wouldn't they?

 

At the end of this day one theory shall stand, one theory shall fall.

Yup, I saw it and was like, hmm, looks like SS with some points on his head and this time he has a mouth. I hope there are no raspy voiced cons that spit and look like animals. Too much of that in DOTM.

 

i would absolutely LOVE it if megatron and starscream were reformatted into galvatron and cyclonus.. it'd be a dream come true for me.

.. but i think it's too good to be true. but if it is true.. i really hope their toys are awesome.. for me, a great looking toy can make all the difference in how much i like or dislike a character.

Through all of this, what really excites me the most is that, by every indication, Dinobots are essentially THE major plot point of this film.

I guess Bay's dislike of the dinobots must have been overcome by a truly great intro-story by the writers...seems he's pulled a complete 180.
