Join the MP whore club. Getting 2 of each MP. The combiners are going to hurt my wallet as I'll be getting 3 of each.
wow, 2 - 3 of each figure? One in each mode? Do you ever get to transform them? I guess that would be good in the case of weak ones like soundwave, then you reduce the chances of breaking them.
blustreak and prowl, coudnt afford all 3 at once with so much other stuff this year! ive only got two soundwaves, takara and Hasbro; for the tapes of course!
Prowl x2 Bluestreak x2 Smokescreen x3 I also bought 5 Soundwaves,3 Takara/2 Hasbro.(luv the figure but went a bit too far ) MP's are my weakness. Robotkingdom and Captured Prey for me and yes all my preorders through them have gone through.
Thanks im either going to look @ RK or chimungmung i think for a pre order. Just hope the whole KO issue doesn't arise with this mold.
Yeah I hear ya. RK and Chim are legit sites. Chim did however receive KO's of the Trigertrack mold which he promptly refunded or replaced orders. RK has always sold me totally legit figures and always at a lower price than anyone else.
I just ordered MP-14 from chim so going to see how it arrives and the condition and go from their. Their postage is nearly half that of RK so if its protected well i think i will go with him again.
Looks awesome Prowl is one of my favourite G1 autobots, and this versions looks amazing, will definitely have him in my collection.
This. From my understanding many retailers got less units in for the MP cassettes, but the way HLJ handled it was abysmal. I ordered MP15 six days after the preorder went live, and it stayed open for long after that. So nearly every order after, say, day 5 went unfilled. Not only that, but they don't have the courtesy to inform you right off the bat. I found out that I didn't get mine when members here started posting getting charged by them for the figures, and I wasn't. I waited a few days, just in case they filled them in order of preorders, then shot them an email. They said they didn't get enough but would try to secure some. Then two months later I got a copy paste email stating that they cancelled my order because they couldn't get more. If I hadn't send them my question, I'd get no updates for two months before they finally cancelled everything.
The main reason I havent done business them. Just dont want to risk it after hearing this type of story over and over. Yikes.
While I agree that its shitty business practice, the biggest issue is simply that they don't email you immediately when they don't get enough stock. I'm not sure its a good reason to avoid them altogether, however. They don't charge you until they have your figure. Honestly, so long as you are prepared with a back up plan, and you email them within a couple days once orders start getting (un)fulfilled, there is really no risk in ordering from HLJ. Its still good pricing, and they are responsive when you take the initiative to contact them. Be aware of the issue and you'll be fine.
