Seriously Hasbro?! Okay I understand you trying to save money put personally I think we were better off with less paint and at a smaller size for deluxes. Imagine going into a Toy R Us and looking at the shelves, of the two beast hunters bees on the shelf would you buy the more articulated better looking one or the less articulated up sized legend toy?

Man, I was so close... SO close... to picking up Voyager Predaking. Thank god I didn't, that new one looks awesome! But oh my god, those deluxes! Now I can focus on Rhinox and Waspinator!

This may have been discussed, but... What are the projected release dates for the target exclusives? In time for the holiday season?

I agree with all your points but just me personally, I just would rather have seen Hasbro go with easier to transform toys for whatever show replaces Prime/Beast Hunters and provided just repaints rather than switch the paradigm midstream. Some of the repaints they could have gone with could have been, Red Rumble/Frenzy, Ironhide, BH Skyquake, Thundercracker, Skywarp. There is enough for at least two waves, which is pretty much all that will be out for the Predacons Rising sub-line before it gets yanked off shelves in favor of TF4.

And yes I have no complaints about the Generations reveals, all those look fantastic. I hope Hasbro stays the course with this line and the TF4 line.

Upscaled Cyberverse toys? Hasbro really is going down the drain. Good thing they have those awesome Generations toys as back-up.

Fair point, but I think with these, since for all intents and purposes, it's easier to upscale an existing design. Maybe they figured they could test the waters with deluxes like this based on the existing legion figures and if it's a complete flop, they havent lost an entire line to the idea.

I know this threads a little old, but now that some of these are in stores, we can see the deluxes are the same as they have been and these "simplified" figures are the one step down we saw in the last BH wave. The price point is the result of them being a two pack. So, we didn't get screwed on our beloved deluxes.

Maybe they are testing the waters,i mean the voyagers will not get a much flak as the deluxes considering that they base them on the simpler cyberverse toys. i think if they gone with ones that have better articulation (I.E Cliffjumper) then i guess people would say it would still be a downgrade. i think it's due to the nature of the limited articulation of cyberverse. heck would it bother them to alter the design abit to add articulation? i mean they are bigger, just make new parts where it matters in robot mode.

Because redesigning them all defeats the entire purpose of using older molds to save money. If they were going to do that, they would just make all new molds instead.

The up-scaled figures are basically filler to finish up the TFPrime line while TF4 starts. It's not the end of the world, so stop freaking out about them.

I agree, plus that money goes to TF4 and those Generations that all have a sign saying "Made for Adults" on them

    Yep.
In the same way that Rescue Bots didn't somehow ruin all of transformers,
Upscaled Cyberverse won't either. It's just another option for younger fans, which is good for us in the long run.

The more kids we can get into this franchise the longer it will keep kickin'
I'd like TF to still be a strong brand in 20 years, this is how they're going to cement that.

Everyone keeps bitching about how they don't combine because the pegs are missing. But there's still holes on the inside of the legs and other odd spots. Maybe they just changed the way they connect? Put the pegs on Hunn-grrr or something. Until I see a post from Hasbro, or one of our sites get all 5 and say no, I'm not counting it out. I think a lot of you just like to bitch and this was just another chance.
