Hi I apologize if this info is already known but from what I have read allover Google thus far Dinobots in T4 seems to be hush hush, a rumor, something everyone hopes will happen or we just don't know. I am in real estate and one of my clients owns a company that works on all the popular movies they do the costumes, artwork etc for Avengers, Ironman series, Thor, Captain America and is doing Guardians of the Galaxy, Vemon and some others. She knew I was a Transformers fan so at a closing yesterday she told me she was working on Transfomers 4 as well. She knows nothing about comics or cartoons and they had to brief her company on the story line, characters etc... well they have been working on it for a few months now she told me just yesterday and I quote "you are going to love Transformers 4, they have these awesome sick looking dinosaurs fighting the Transfomers" she also mentioned next year is the year of the dinosaur..coincidence for T4 and when it will be released? But from a long time client and of mine this is 100% from the mouth of someone working on the movie. She said none of this will be in any press releases or articles online, its pretty hush hush she said. She also mentioned something about Optimus and his old truck style from the 80's cartoon. Not sure what role that plays.

Again if this was already known then I apologize but after she told me yesterday I decided to search allover then net for the Dino Bots in this movie and as she told me I found no confirmation and then I ended up on this boeard.

Or maybe the Dinobots... wait for it.. ARN'T IN THE MOVIE!!! Haha I'm kidding, I really hope we get to see some cool movie designs for the autobot wrecking crew (the one that isn't the wreckers!)

 

I called my client BEGGING for some cell phone pics of what they are working on, don't know if I will get them but I am going to keep pushing the issue and will report back if I get something worthwhile.

 

I had this thought if the Dinobots are in the film. I would sound something movieverse like, but people would hate it.

If the Dinobots had robot modes, just like the Wreckers looking like Redneck Autobots, do you think the Dinobot's robot modes would be something like Caveman robots?

Now I wouldn't want that, I don't care what they look like as long as they have Dinosaur modes.

 

If they can have a giant scorpion, a tiny insect, and a large cat.. I don't see why the dinobots can't be dinosaurs.. I really hope if they are in the movie they'd have both Dino and robot modes.

Unlike most people, I LOVE the movie aesthetic. And I think the dinobots, using the movie aesthetic would have incredibly awesome robot modes.

And while I would like at least three original dinobots.. I wouldn't mind if one of them was beast wars dinobot. I can't even imagine how incredible a movie robotic raptor would look.

Thanks a bunch for coming here and posting, very interesting. Tends to make sense. I wonder too with how this is shaking out if the Dinobots in this movie are going to be "bad guys" perhaps either in the sense of being truly evil, or perhaps a lot of this movie will entail these ancient dinosaur bots waking up and causing so much havoc from lack of awareness/lack of allegiance to either Autobot or Decepticon side that it becomes more like when the original Dinobots were introduced and promptly went haywire and the Autobots had to fight them just to stop the chaos and shut them down, even though the Dinobots weren't "evil" per se.
