Just got mine from Captured Prey. Wow... can't believe I was originally planning to skip this figure. It's fantastic.

    Yup I noticed that too.

I really want the edbomber toys Shackwave but am thinking if I should just put the money towards Metroplex in August.

Just got my forearm and put it on. Kinda sucky all those screws are on the outside when the hose is at the bottom. They should of put the screws on the hose side.

They did, actually. You've got it on backwards. Check the little detail lines and you'll see things don't like up quite right. :)

Agreed. I got mine back in March (wave 2), and I still find myself going into pure geek mode and running around making "pew pew!" noises and shooting a transformed Quakewave.

I've seen a few sites offering Quakewave enhancement decal stickers... are those any good? He's a beautiful figure as-is, but I do like the look of some of the added details... but I don't wanna pay $$ for stickers that fall off the first or second time you convert modes.

With mine I just stuck on a few con stickers painted his face(for lack of a better name)black and black washed the inside of the chest and added a few red dots of paint to make it look like some lights in there.

I have only seen one sticker set out for quakewave and it looked kind of tacky imho it tried too hard to add detail

I finally went ahead and put in a pre-order for Quake Wave. I can't believe how fast those pre-orders get snatched up every time.

Thanks to everyone who posted pics, and Youtube reviews. It sealed the deal for me when you can hear the clickety sound of the joints, and how the reviewer was firmly holding Quakewave's legs. You can tell there's some heft and mass to this figure, in a good way.

Everyone should own Quakewave, for me it's the best 3rd party figure I've had, mine's from the first run and it's been fiddled with a fair bit and the joints are all still nice and tight and the ratchets are really nice and looks so good alongside my MP's.

Got my Quakewave the other day, absolutely love it!

Just needs faction symbols. Just don't know if I should I get the g1 shockwave reprolable set (the one with just the three symbols), or would the white outline faction symbol set be better??

I'd do the white outlines. Just got mine in today...they look good.

:D  It is interesting how "they" decided to finally carry Quakewave this late in the game. Why now? I can only surmise they must have been monitoring the rabid demand for the figure and decided to get their slice of the pie. Oh well, I'm just glad Fanstoys is continuing to release waves of this guy so everyone has the opportunity to nab him.

So I finally got my Quakewave last night. I had pre-ordered from Toyarena a couple of months ago so I've been pretty stoked for a while now. Even after reading so many rave reviews I still had no idea how wonderful this guy is.

He is arguably the best transformer I have in my collection.

agrees, this is surpassed all my official MP from Takara in terms of quality and feel and being able to play around with it.

Just pulled the trigger (get it?) on this guy. Ordered him from Lunar Toy Store, which I've never used before, but they seem legit. I am not a 3rd party TF collector at all; the only other 3rd party figures I've ever owned were the iGear PP05 van brothers, and I recently sold both of those. But Quakewave just seems too awesome to pass up, and I think he will fit perfectly within my Masterpiece collection. In fact, he might even be a little too good for my MP shelf. I'm worried that Soundwave and Starscream might get a case of "die-cast envy".

Is there an instruction on putting CR-1025 in the head by FT?

Yes and I'll quote it. "Very Carefully". It's best if you use a set of forceps.
