    I haven't read any recent tf comics. The only series I read through all the way was the DW armada comic.

    I'm being and asshole by saying that you misinterpreted people hating the figure with people being dissapointed by it because it's not what they wanted or expected?

    Personally, I LOVE the way this toy looks.

    But I feel many people are disappointed because the liveblog said he was MTMTE inspired and they expected the exact same design.

    This shouldn't be something you complain about guys, we're getting an all new, Voyager class update of Whirl.

    Pretty much, if it wasn't for the screw up of saying he was MTMTE based, people wouldn't be this pissed off at it.

    I will be getting this guy if I ever see him in the stores. I loved the original Whirl. Got him and Roadbuster one year at Christmas. I never figured out until I got back into Transformers a couple years ago why they never were in the cartoon or early comic books. I hope they do a Roadbuster next.

    Having the cockpit being able to rotate in robot mode into a forward position would've helped, but I still like it nonetheless. Bring on MTMTE Voyager Rodimus!

    This was kinda disappointing, so I ended up buying a custom IDW-ish Whirl. Not sure why Hasbro made all these IDW inspired figures, but then decided to do a G1 toy homage for just this one... Especially when the IDW design is so much better.
