Warren TV was great! Vangelus is not crazy, a puppet did take over YTV but thats on par with other canadian programing like Ed the Sock. Or when Weird Al hosted Much Music over New Years.

I find it amusing when people talk about how their Toy's R Us never had MP Optimus in stock, when the first time i walked into the Toys R Us closest to me (Jacksoville FL) it was full stocked, with cases above the shelves stacked like 7 boxes high, as well as the actual shelves being fully stocked. It astounds me that Toys R Us had weird distribution problems with it.

Holy shit, I got mentioned on the podcast.

Yeah, the cool thing about that Jetfire is that if you want a 1/18th size VF-1 Valkyrie for your various dudes of that size, you can get one, and it even has FAST packs on it. It's neat, but not really neat enough for me to say "hey, I need to put down a load of money on that." That, and I already got a Skystriker hanging from my ceiling and I don't have room for any more. But I can totally see the appeal in it.

In fact, they even made little 1/18th Robotech dudes in the 80s, but since Transformers had the license to Jetfire I don't think they ever made a VF-1, so if you want one for those guys there you go.

Honestly, the only G.I. Joe \ Transformers thing that I would really want is the Starscream with Cobra Commander, which just works and flows naturally, whereas everything after that, it feels like they've just been kinda grasping at straws for vehicles to Transformerize. The Baroness and Ravage and Bludgeon are pretty rad, and hell, I would probably go for them separately if they sold em, but with that Hound and Jetfire, I dunno.

I'm surprised they took this long to get Jarodimus on. Probably the biggest Transformers/medical fan on Preorder66!

Also, I give Seth props for getting some Honkeytonk Man coverage.

Wow, 4.5 hours...still listening to the podcast. Good stuff so far, as usual, gentlemen.

Just FYI for anyone who isn't sure about fixing the Botcon MW Hoist reversed shoulder issue, I posted one method for fixing them in the Radicons section:

    Fix for Botcon Hoist's shoulders

The method does require the use of a soldering iron.

If you want to minimize or altogether avoid deforming the plastic of the shoulders, I recommend the use of a strong magnet to pull out the flat headed/capped pin but you don't have to use a magnet, you could take a gamble and try to pry off the shoulder parts by hand.

I still don't like the up sized Cy-verse toys. Even after listening to the interviews I still find the whole thing to be a bit sketchy. I get the concept, and I don't necessarily disagree with it, but the execution still seems like a cheap cop out to me. The explanation that they're just doing that to have a starting point comes off as a BS excuse to just put out half assed product.
Even from a none toy collector standpoint it seems like a dirty business practice.

I am interested in seeing how actual original new molds with in this concept will look down the line, because the idea of simplifying transformation isn't a bad idea, if they do it right. But I'm sorry, I just can't excuse the up scaled/remolded cy-verse toys. Just as a business practice alone.

The words on MP Soundwave box are not Japanese, those are Chinese Hanzi "傑作", literally stand for "Masterpiece"~
