Some of this we knew from BotCon, but some is decidedly new. The chromed helmets intrigue me, but look kind of weird.

At least it's good to see Kre-O's not quite dead yet.

I really want those customizable Kreons. I'm not sure why, but they look very appealing.

Prime Shockwave reuses Lugnut's body and legs? Pity.

Prices and dates for the Autobot Base and Custom sets, don't think we've had those before.

I'm not sure how helpful those custom sets will be for MY customs (creating new characters and not just fiddling around with armor upgrades). I don't think I'd ever find use the chrome or clear parts, nor the Battleship alien arms, or the ultra-specific G1 torsos and legs (and we already have G1 versions of all those characters). On the other hand, I am always in need of those clip pegs, and I'm sure I could find use for those weapons.

I hope they're not abandoning the larger figures, but it seems it might be so. I really enjoy putting them together with my kids.

Personally, I think larger playsets along the lines of that Autobot Command Center are a much more appropriate way for Kre-O to go forward than the larger vehicle/robots assemblies. I got a Ratchet on massive clearance a year ago, and it's never left vehicle mode after having done both modes once. I can't foresee ever trying to assemble that ugly robot mode again....

I'd like to see them to combine "playset" and "action figure" and give us bots like Trypticon and Metroplex.

What's up with the chromed helmets?

Bumblebee's chrome helmet reminds me much of Tantrum. Not sure why. :lol

Out of the Customs I'm definitely getting Ironhide (Only the first year of Kreo sets ever came where I lived and don't want to know how much postage to import Devastator) and the Microchangers Bulkhead and Lugnut. The best looking to me AND they're Animated

So no other reveals for Kre-O? That combined with how brick-and-mortar stores seem to have abandoned the line makes me fear the line is ending, at least as far as Transformers are concerned.

Autobot Command Center seems to have a Prime Arcee Kreon and Prime Shockwave Kreon. This is definitely the direction I want the Kreo big builds to go. Sort of micromaster base like.

Perhaps it's because the 2014 Kre-O sets are based off of the fourth film and they aren't ready to showcase any of those toys yet, due to potential spoilers and stuff. I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to be focusing on the other brands of Kre-O for the beginning of the year, with Transformers coming back with a bang for the summer with Trans4mers inspired sets.

This is Hasbro we're talking about, and really it isn't their fault if the Retailers can't understand the potential of this brand. Personally I think American Retailers are more scared of losing business with LEGO than anything else... Either that or they just aren't getting a big enough return on the investment. Which I find silly because Kre-O sets are selling.

Maybe not in the big numbers they're accustomed to seeing from more established lines, but everyone needs to learn to crawl before they can walk.

At least Kre-O is still available in most retailers in Canada, so we Canadians aren't giving up on the brand.

Honestly it could also be that the other retailers just aren't ordering as much as they used to to avoid being stuck with stuff they need to clearance out heavily and take a loss on because of that.

I'm confident Kre-O isn't ending any time soon, I mean they wouldn't be introducing more new brands to the line for next year if they couldn't get retailers interested.
