Season 2s premiere, after seeing Arcee's hologram on Jack's bike, she kind of assumed Jack already had a significant other and I guess, didn't care about him anymore?

 

To me, those who think it was a trap is just because everyone is all "NOES THE BADASS BADASS OF BADASSNESS GOT SHOT AND CRASHED".

That would suck.

 

Yeah Soundwave's talent wasn't taking hits, it was avoiding getting hit. In fact, he's gotten injured every single time we've seen him get hit.

If Wheeljack can crack his face just by headbutting him, then a shot to the underbelly with a gattling gun ought to do some damage.

He looked like he was drunk trying to fly there. Maybe he'd already been hit, was disoriented, and was making a desperate run for it?

I guess having your home destroyed by...er...meteorites?....kinda has a way of putting teen love on the sideburners?

 

How could the guy who's literally a mobile space bridge operator let a bunch of Vehicons pass through one and let himself trapped like an amateur is a mystery. Unless it was a tactical desicion, like he did that in order to secure the specimen for Megatron in exchange for his own safety. Good soldier!

Though he'll probably do smthing badassish back in the Bots base(like escaping while stealing a significant amount of data from Ratchet's databases). Anyway i guess we'll have to wait and see 

On another note: anyone else thinks they'll somehow bring back the virus that Ratchet put in Laserback back in Triage?

 

Optimus got buffed a lot. So much that the full extent of his power hasn't been shown, but so far he's been able to dominate anything in his path, and even delay Predaking despite not actually dominating him.

 

I wonder... Could Prime ever go about doing anything urgent without being so sesquipedalian about it? It sounds like "Ratchet, it stands to reason that my humble self would appreciate your invaluable assistance if you would be reasonable enough to produce a space bridge portal in order for us to transport from our current coordinates to the base... " *continues to blabber until Soundwave exits stasis lock and flies away*

 

I hope this ins't all part of his plan or if it is, it ends up backfiring. Little sick of the "Soundwave is perfect" thing. Would be nice to see him majorly fuck up just once.

 

Agreed. And they're maintaining his image of perfection at the expense of nerfing the other characters. His "victory" over Airachnid included him opening a space bridge, then her walking in, dumbly staring at Cybertron's moons while the WHIOLE INSECTICON HORDE flew in, looking around and waiting for the portal to close. No skill on Soundwave's part, unless he somehow implanted a chip on Airachnid that caused her to act ******ed.

 

And we all know you'll keep posting stuff like this every time. Just saying.

 

I'm with what others have said, this was probably staged either on SWs part or by Megs orders.

And if it were by Megs orders, I imagine the orders will probably go something like this:

Megs: Soundwave. I want you to surrender to the Autobots, so that we may learn the location of their new base, and procure their medic. Make it look convincing.

And i don't remember seeing a smiley face on SWs visor, but then, it was a pretty low-res video, and we only got a close-up on his face for a second.

As for Sierra, I'm glad she's gone, there was no real point to her being in the show anyway, plus Jack's way out of her league anyways.

 

Yeah, if Laserbeak flying away from the scene of the crime not a blatant 'this is a trap for the Autobots' then colored me genuinely surprised.

All cynicism aside, so looking forward to this episode. Like Fist of the North Star... Soundwave needs an episode for himself. I don't even care if he talks...

 

More proof they love to weaken the Decepticons for NO reason.
