I don't know why some people are hating on the MARPAT "pixel" camo colorway. The MARPAT camo has been around for about 15 years now. Sure the green is loud, but so was the original in the cartoon way back when.

I hope that everyone has the same opinion when it's released so I can easily pick him up without wasting time or gas!

oh wow, I could have never imagined an ugly seeker, boy was I wrong. What are they thinking, I can't imagine putting that on any shelf around other MP's it'll stick out, constantly drawing your eyes on that horrid green.
This one just confirms my idea of only getting the takara MP's.

Digital camo when done right can look absolutely stunning.

Empashis, by the way, on "when done right"

With MP Acid Storm it's done wrong. Most notable wrongness is the limiting of the digicamo to only the wings. They should've gone all out. Package the figure in jet mode and give it digi camo all over the dorsal side of the jet. That's the way it should be.

Compare the first pic I could find through google with Acid Storm and note the glaring differences in placement of the digi camo. Just the wings with big different colored blocks on Acid Storm to this:

If that's too much paint for Hasbro then they should've gone with traditional camo, like they did with the classics version of Acid Storm, whose camo is actually based on a real jet, like the Saab Viggen and that would've looked a lot better to me. Less Acid Stormy, but G1 Acid Storm also didn't have digi camo

I hope TT will release a different deco on their version: they have done so far with every other MP. Either complete digi camo or more traditional Wingstripes.

Currently, I'm probably still going to get him, but I'll remove the incomplete digi camo at the first opportunity.

I'm not normally one to hate on gaudy decos, but this is the worst thing I have ever seen.

I can't justify spending $75 on a Masterpiece for a character I don't care about. If it had been Starscream or Skywarp? No problem. Acid-Storm? I had never even heard of the character until last year, when I picked up the deluxe for $15 in a comic book shop.

How on Earth does Thundercracker not get a release in the UK for fear of being a shelfwarmer, despite being a bigger name and having a nice colour scheme, yet this guy does?

I feel that Sunstorm colour looks much better than the Acid Storm colour.

I am surprised how much I like this. But I already have my two favorite Seekers (Walscream and TRUcracker) so I don't feel the need to triple dip.

Here's a picture of Acid Storm from the cartoon in a pretty damn loud green which is very similar to the one used on the MP release. Notice the line up: Acid Storm, Ice Storm, and Sun Storm. The colors of Acid and Sun Storm are very bright in the original series for those dinosaurs out there that actually remember watching this back in the day.

    ^that's not Sunstorm.

Sunstorm isn't one of the Rainmakers, but one of the Cybertronian seekers in MTMTE that attack Wheeljack and Bumblebee. tfwiki sunstorm
