that would be great, but in all honesty, it's going to be a bit of a stretch. A realistic expectation is that he makes it to the top 3 or 4 figures in the poll, that's all.

 

I won't pretend to speak for everyone, but I'd love those figures done in at least a Voyager size. I wish MMC or ToyWorld or something would do the duo.

 

While I really really love RID Prime/Super Fire Convoy, I really don't see how they can improve him much based on the current level of MP size/articulation with the exception of maybe giving him more articulate hands. The guy is one of the most articulate, well designed figures ever, which still holds up up to now, practically MP quality level if you ask me.

Actually, now that I think of it, Takara could always pull what they did with those Movie MPs and retool the old mold slightly, giving him metallic paint, and put him out as an MP. Same with Galaxy Convoy.

 

If I can post all the way from New Zealand, then I might just send in my stocked-up robot points so I can vote for my dream MP Star Saber. Since it'll most likely be the Japanese fans doing the majority of voting, I hope they have the sense to pick the Japanese-exclusive characters. I don't need another damn Optimus Prime.

 

From the profit side:

1. Fort max:
In addition, you gain 2 repaints: Grand Max and RID Fort Max
You will needed a pretender shell too.
2. Star Saber:
If you are going for Star saber, you better add a Victory Leo.
3. Ginrai:
Standard Ginrai and obviously you needed God Bomber

The Star Convoy is good but all the mechanic is the big problem.
You will need Sky Garry and the other to complete the base mode.

For other figures, they are not as brick as the top three.

 

Just to give more insight

1. Fort Max - He definitely gets 2 instant repaints in Grand Max and Fort Max. Not sure if Hasbro would be willing to take a chance on him given they're pretty focused on making Metroplex the big name in large TFs now.

2. Star Saber - His mold is going to be more difficult to recover - Takara will probably redo him in black like his eHobby RM figure. He definitely has to do well to even think of getting Victory Lio.

3. God Ginrai - He's most likely going to be the most profitable, since Hasbro will definitely be willing to put out an MP PM Prime, plus Takara probably gets to re-issue him as Nucleon Quest Convoy and most likely as Fire Guts God Ginrai if/when God Bomber gets issued.

Superlink Prime
-Wing Saber(Will it be another brick?) and Omega Supreme(MP combine with other MP?)
Galaxy Prime:
-Leo Breaker(Nemesis Breaker/Leo Prime Repaint), Wing Saber

Good lord - an MP Fortress or Grand Maximus? The price tag on that would be tremendous. But awesome.

 

I was gonna vote for Star Saber, but I need some instructions on how to mail an all-Japanese postcard in America. As well as instructions on what to do.

 

A Masterpiece Powermaster Prime... I hope it wins... Does it have a chance at all? It was one of my favorites as a kid but I have no idea how popular it was with other people.

 

Can forget about the fish head Armada Prime,totally waste of time.

Sighs, guess it's time to stop collecting masterpiece..
I still prefer G1 era TFs.. There are tonnes of G1 characters can be made as masterpiece why why why they wanna switch gear to non-G1 characters?

 

Only for this MP Fan choice figure to commemorate 30th anniversary,after which TakTomy will still continue their usual G1 figures for MP line.
