"Darker". I don't like that word, since it's been tossed around Hollywood rather a lot lately and has meant to be nothing more than an exaggerated marketing ploy.

Ignoring this part, I'm no doubt excited by the potential in this particular scene by the information we've been given. Thanks tonyformer for the extra insight.

 

Then I'm starting to think this is all part of another disinformation campaign. Unless, after so many leeks throughout the first trilogy, they've just given up.

 

Making a fake China instead of going to China...

In ROTF they made a fake China (the opening of ROTF) and a fake Egypt. All the action scenes were done on a set here in the U.S. so how is any different?

 

Really cool to see a set under construction like that, there must be a staggering amount of work involved.

 

Actually first thoughts I had of this was the warehouse with Grimlock inside and Optimus riding on its back - they burst through the warehouse and pose as the warehouse explodes behind them...



But we all secretly know this film is going to suck...

Wow. Before I was transferred to another location, I lived right in those apartments behind the construction. I would have looked directly down on the scene where my apartment was as well. That would have been neat.

 

That could possibly confirm the plot details about Dinobots possibly appearing.

Cool stuff anyway. We all know the action will be explosive.

 

Yeah man with the first three movie the Autobots were heavily outnumber and out gunned expect for the first movie, and yet came out on top and suffer minimal casualties. Michael Bay stated that this movie will be even darker then DOTM well I feel its time to make the Decpticons even more deadlier to the Autobots, having Autobot Drones gives them that option.

 

It would be nice but we will have to wait and see I guess.

I think he means it will be the new ground zero or battle ground for TF4 like how Chicago was in DOTM.

I don't know how a movie could blow DOTM out of the water in terms of action, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. The TF movies keep getting better action wise by each movie anyway so it could still be true. I think the rumor about the Dinobots fighting in China is real.

 

So do I. And I think she was referring to that when she said some particularly larger TFs would be fighting each other. My first thought was dinobots vs a Con combiner.

 

Something to think about: If the Dinobots are truly Dinobots (not vehicles turning into Dinos) then we will never see them on set. If anything it'll just be their faces on poles.

 

Or we see OP, Bee and other Autobots come riding in on them lol.

Also, just thought of something. They are obviously filming in the states to be in the U.S in the film. But how would all the Bots and human characters get to China? In ROTF hey flew by way of NEST. But I dont see them going that route again. What if this secrete human faction or dare I say a still unseen Ratchet in a new Bot Base has used the damaged space bridge tech and created ground bridge tech like in the cartoon? Lol

 

If they have a ground bridge, my expression:  

 

I guess if the dinobots are in the movie and they're not a vehicle they will never show up on set. I hope ratchet comes back in some fashion
