This looks like it's going to be the best episode ever.

 

Dang it, TFW, put the video after the link, don't put it on the front page. What's the point of warning about spoilers when the video is right there showing the returning character before you even click to start it? Oy.

 

What if Dreadwing becomes a zombie and somehow gets feet with talons and chainsaws?

 

Why do I get the sneaking suspicion Doc Knock's not gonna make it outta this one. There's some kind of poetry in getting eaten by your deceased partner's reanimated corpse. Like I feel like Screamer's just going to lock him in a room with Break-CyLAS-Zombie-Down.

This is REALLY going to freak the CRAP out of me.

 

The show is probably being used as a segue into the idea for the next one, with this season being used to show Predaking coming to power and the movie showing the other Predacons rising. There was no way to tie up the series and have a season that could do BW justice in 13 episodes. Less, actually, since they had to explain Predaking's existence and tie up loose ends before the BW part could even start. Least, that's my theory. If Hasbro thought they could do all that in 13 episodes after telling the writers "Ohai put beasts in season 3 kthxbye" so late in the writing process, they're smoking some serious shit.

And the first 4 episodes had absolutely nothing to do with relic hunts. I don't like the relic hunts either and I was disappointed to see them but....keep it real.  


I also have a bad feeling Knockout won't make it out of this episode alive. Perhaps all the fan service they had Knockout giving the last episode was an attempt to stem the explosion of fangirl anger that will come with his death.

 

That looks...really cool. Congrats Prime, you have my attention.

 

This series won't do BW Justice even if it ran a century. And I just hope the next series won't have any link to Prime.

Well, here you're right, the first 4 episodes are like Darkness riding in season 1. This season sonds like season 1, a bunch of episodes with a plot which could have benn covered in one or two, filler, filler, filler, bunch of episodes to close the season badly concentrating all the plot not used in the season and wasting the big bad guy (Unicron in season 1, Predaking now). I just hope the bucnh of closing episodes are the movie, if not we have two episodes left before the season finale...

Maybe, for me this show characters are as important as the 'Con protoforms in the movies. I hate even Bumblebee, first time in my life when I hope he dies painfully...

 

This is the first episode of TfP I've looked forward to in a long, long time. My only question is, why didn't they do more with Dark Energon zombies/monsters throughout the show?

 

I hope that at one point, Knockout uses his buzz-saw to kill a zombie and say "Groovy."

 

I have the strange feeling that KO will probably get killed by zombie Breakdown/Cylasdown.

I'm excited yet scared for next week.

I got all excited when I saw Silasdown (such a dumb name) in the thumbnail, but he's just a Zombie.

Although at least it's not a relic hunt!

 

This. I would have much rather preferred a robotic zombie plague/ epidemic/ hunt over a relic hunt. I find it frustrating because TFP writers have proven they know how to come up with creative and interesting plot twists, so why they felt the need to fall back on yet another extended relic hunt is still a mystery to me.

Ah, well, enough griping, I'm really looking forward to whatever this Dark Energon Zombie fest turns out to be. Plus we know Ratchet is still working on his Synthetic Energon, so I'm curious (and hoping!) to see if anything comes from that in this episode.

Although that Silasdown fang, tongue, mouth thing...that, that is the stuff nightmares are made of.

 

Relic hunts may be the lowest point in Transformers Prime (and possibly the lowest points in Transformers collectively - it was also terrible in RiD and Armada), but THIS represents Transformers Prime at its best. Zombies, unique elements never before seen in TF, awesome characters....man. THIS is why I still watch the show.

Now if only the whole show could still be like this...

That may happen though if it did then we'll hear more compalints about how the Decepticons always get killed off yet not the Autobots.

 

Oh, I can't WAIT.

"No one ever dies! That's unrealistic!" / "They killed Character X, they had so much potential!" / "The Autobots never die, that's lame." / "The Autobot team is too small, why don't they have more members?" / "The Decepticons are so weak, it makes me sick" / "Why do the Decepticons always win?"

 

Seems like a totally unnecessary deviation from the main story arc, which is a shame...they're moving slow enough as it is to actually do anything spectacular before the season ends...filler episodes are not needed.
