That's not a good thing. 

 

I kind of like the over all aesthetic of the big Prime, but it looks like they cheaped out on a lot of the detail, etc.

I actually like the Predaking though, I may actually try to get it.

 

I know! Should't it be the other way around?!  

 

According to BBTS Prime will be available on June at $59.99.

 

The only bit about predaking that I dont like is the wings and how they are on the back of the robot mode. They honestly couldn't come up with something so that they are correctly oriented? Instead this confirms my greatest fear, that the wings are mid back and look ******ed because of it. Way to go Hasbro, way to go.

Optimus on the other hand looks pretty impressive.

 

Im trying to figure out if these are worth a pick up. I know the Predking could but not sold on the Optimus Yet

 

That Prime is huge.....

 

Optimus is so big he can almost fight the Knock-off DOTM Megatron - Chuckle.

Can't wait to see what the Ultimate's Weapons look like if used with the Voyager Optimus (if they fit).

 

Holy crap Optimus Prime is massive.

 

Is there a worse toy than that Ultimate Prime? God that's awful. Can't say that Predaking is doing much for me either.

 

Cyberverse Abominus is pretty much on par with this version of Optimus.

 

RotF Supreme Devastator comes to mind. Ultimate Optimus Prime looks like a Masterpiece compared to that thing.

 

Prime looked beast at Toy Fair due to the high amount of silver paint. Now we have bare grey plastic which looks cheap. It's that lighter shade Hasbro likes to use. Wish it was darker grey. The ring looks...admittedly like it might be fun, it reminds me of that one Gundam from Gundam Seed or whatever.

I LOVE the sword of decimation but again the lack of paint. Meh. Wish this one was more show accurate, like blue translucent plastic for the chest windows and eyes, accurate grill, et al. BATTLE MASK. Man...that one gimmick on Cybertron Optimus and Animated voyager Optimus..the battle mask retraction gimmick..man...that was an awesome gimmick! Simple but effective.

I'm shocked Prime is substantially bigger than Predaking. Thought they would be on par if not the other way around.

What kills Prime is the hollow feet and lack of silver paint/dark grey plastic. Members from Australia who held the box mentioned that it felt very light. Not a good sign! Shame Predaking has wrists on ball joints that go limp under the sword.
