probably will be getting the smaller ones first. Since it seems they are just going to flip change. Breakdown is the real highlight here. Just need to give him some spikey shoulder pads that also fill out his truck mode, and some hammers easily made by connection rods with the blunt sides of wheels.

find the inclusion of shockwave most logical. Setting experimental parameters for cultivation.

Shockwave looks interesting, and as for the rest there's an absolute boatload of customising opportunities.

If these are compatible with Hero Factory/Bionicle, I am so in. Kids and I got into those recently.

    These suck.

Except for Shockwave, because Shockwave could be made into a cabbage patch doll and I'd probably buy it. Ok.....maybe not.

Shockwave looks great... the rest not so much. So what's the situation with this line? They're like LEGOs or something, that you can assemble and disassemble into different configurations? I've never heard of this line, so pardon the ignorance on my part.

The Kre-O line was created to compete with the Lego brick line (vehicles, buildings, minifigs, etc.). I see these as competing with Hero Factory. The fact that they actually transform without disassembly might give them a brief edge in appeal over the latter.

I plan on getting a Prime and Megatron for my collection, but other than that.... No thanks. I'm not the target market.

These are an addition to the current line, correct?

As long as we still get the standard version/line than I'm ok with them expanding in different directions if it helps grow the property with kids and such.

Most of what I've seen isn't really doing much for me. Soundwave and Dragstrip seem the most appealing right now. Guess I'll just wait it out to see if these go on sale or if the usual reviewers somehow change my mind. Most just seem weirdly proportioned.

I might grab Shockwave but yeah on the whole these things really aren't doing anything for me. Who knows though, in hand they might be awesome.

I have no real opinion on these guys. They aren't really "for" me. My nephews, and son eventually on the other hand are the perfect market for these.

Finally, official Transformers I have no interest in purchasing. Way to go Hasbro.

...you know, i was going to post my disgust for these POS-specials, but i realized that when the Kre-O stuff was announced, i thought they were shit too.

    and indeed i was right.

however, the Kreons are awesome so i've actually purchased every Kre-O set just so i can have everyone.

so i don't know, maybe despite these being complete crap, i'll end up buying them all for some other reason i wasn't expecting.

I ended up loving kre-o after buying a few sets for the kreons.
