This. Exactly my same thoughts on seeing this.

Nice that it's at least an homage to Bumper, I guess. Also... if most of us are thinking of populating Metroplex with Legends-class figures, I guess Scamper becomes kind of a bruiser, no?

Anyway, not that I'm actually complaining about his being too big. That would just be petty. He looks pretty cool.

With the current legend/cyberverse toy engineering advancement these days.. they can do better. Hate the horrendous hollow leg/feet

I'm sure a Bumper repaint is in the works, but the head is also quite accurate to the G1 animation model. It looks like a merging of Bumper & cartoon Scamper.



No doubt someone like Venksta will put together a G1 toy accurate head at some point.

Hmm, aside from the color, that suddenly makes sense. Scamper got so little screen time I never thought about what his cartoon face looked like.

Yes, this! What have they done to him?? Give him back his faceplate and visor, that new head is horrendous!

By changing his head and face this isn't Scamper.

at the very least he could have been given Feet instead of nubs.

and of all the crap to make hollow you made his actual Tires HOLLOW??? Really!?!

also, interesting to see Metro has no paint apps on the back of his calves (The thrusters)

 

The pictures we've been seeing for Scamper and Metroplex have been mostly unpainted prototypes. There's nothing to indicate that they'll reflect the fully painted toys.

 

Put a scanner on the front of the car and I'll call him K.I.T.T. as a Transformer with his red face.

 

hmm... hadn't noticed the hollow tires. Not hollow in the inside, but hollow along the tire surface where the tread and grooves are.  

That is a new cost-cutting low!

 

Scamper's lower legs remind me of Battle Roller's. I don't know why, but I'm having flashbacks of Cybertron Scouts.
