I'm guessing it's the cancelled cyborg gorilla pretender.

And that Spider-Bandito might also appear alongside him.

Hopefully BBTS/TFS sees this and follows suit.

I'd laugh so hard if they drop it just to spite the club..

Heck I might even order it if they did that!

While I'd really want this Magnificus for my collection, I'm not too sure I'm willing to drop $95 to buy and ship it from the TCC. I don't shop at BBTS or TFSource, so those aren't options for me. I may wait and see if Captured Prey carries it and how much they carry it for.. But maybe if it's available when I get paid again (in two weeks), I might go ahead and drop the cash for it through the TCC.

I do find it very odd as well that it isn't cheaper through the club via their arranged "deal" with eHobby. It seems like somewhere between eHobby, TCC, and the consumer, someone is getting ripped off causing a ripple effect in the process :/
Here's to hoping I can grab one at some point, as I don't own any eHobby exclusives and I'd like to.

This is pretty boggling that a "TFCC Exclusive" is more expensive than other outlets.

Considering the SG Blaster/Soundwave set is still available for purchase, I do not see a need to rush and buy this at all. I'm not a fan of the price and quite surprised that shipping is expensive.

    Let's see...

    TFCC - $82 + $12.50 shipping = $94.50
    BBTS - $90 + $0.90 shipping as part of a POL = $90.90

It should not be this close.

    At all.

Even factoring in shipping, the club should be getting these at a much better deal. So either the club isn't getting a discount from ehobby, or they're making a huge profit on each one.

I chose BBTS, but it really should have been a no brainer cost wise to buy directly from the club. It was for SG Blaster/Soundwave...

You can't really compare if it is part of a bigger POL you have on BBTS. I added the exclusive to my BBTS cart, and the cheapest is $8.90 via UPS Ground.

In either case, the club should try to lower shipping costs, if BBTS can ship for cheaper, why can't the TFCC? Doesn't make sense at all.

I meant for ME, and it will be part of a pile...

Even so, $4 difference isn't going to cut it for the club in either direction. Not including shipping, wasn't SGSVB $250 at BBTS vs $195 at the club? $55 difference is significant.. Which was 22% cheaper than BBTS. By that logic, the club "sweet spot" for this should be around $69.99. Of course we don't know the logistics of the deal between TFCC and ehobby, but my bottom line comes before the club (or BBTS, TFS, etc).

It is what it is, I guess. I've got the Botcon and subscription figures to look forward to this year, so they're getting plenty of my money on that front.

I wonder if the comic will come with the TFCC version. I'm leaning towards TFSource, but if the TFCC one has the English version of the comic, then I'm afraid I'll probably get that one.

The comic that comes with it is in both Japanese and English, like the Black Rodimus Convoy comic but unlike the SG VS set one (which had an English version and a Japanese version).

Yes this is preferable as you don't have to buy from TCC if you don't want to get an English version.

The coloration of this mold is very appealing, so I have this preordered.

I really do want to support the Collector's Club, but I was uninterested in Depthcharge so I have not paid the fee for this year. Between that and already having a PoL going at BBTS the easy answer for me is to go with BBTS.

There's a small color preview of the pack-in comic up on Magnificus' order page:

(And pre-orders are closed for Magnificus)
