To be fair, during and after "One Shall Fall", Optimus has pretty much tried to kill Megatron almost every chance he had. Plus, I don't think anyone really wanted the Decepticons to rule both Earth and Cybertron, so it was an unwinnable situation, and everyone but Ratchet seemed fine with it. And really, whose fault was it for the kids getting captured in the first place?

And here's a list of Smokescreen's goofs as a comparison:

He nearly killed all of Team Prime during his initial appearence by accidently shooting the leaking energon from the escape pod.
He ran off, was captured and gave the Decepticons another Omega Key.
He fails to mention that he has a device that could've saved Prime's life if he had given it to him before he left.

I think the bad is starting to outweigh the good here.

How is that harsh? If the staff behind this show has the balls to kill off Optimus for good, and don't magically bring him back to life, then they deserve a round of applause.

As much as I love Optimus Prime I have to agree with a lot of this. I hate to admit it but there is so much truth in this that it hurts. I can't help but feel if Optimus hadn't been so soft (as Ratchet put it) at times when it comes to Megatron things would have turned out different.

I personally would focus on the new possible Prime.

But I still don't like the idea of Optimus dieing.  

 

Id be happy if
1: optimus dies and stays dead (sick of him being autobot jesus)
2: optimus "dies" smokescreen takes the matrix and uses the hammer to upgrade optimus into his beast hunters body then gives it back

 

just die already for once optimus! jeez!!!

 

I remember when Optimus used to die all the time and people were sick of him dying.
