I can't see it in the bot mode...but in tank mode, oh my. Much better looking than the lanky mess that is the voyager.

 

I wish Shockwaves gun was a little smaller it looks a little big but it will do great with my other cyberverse

 

I have to say my only gripe so far with Shockwave is that his cannon doesn't seem to be complete all the way around. Like they opted to save costs by leaving the underside hollow. He's still getting bought though, like dreadwing he just blows the voyager out of the water for me.  

 

I dunno, I consider something like a half-hollow cannon to be a pretty big problem.

 

What happened to Shockwave? He looked so much better at the Toy Fair.

Maybe i'd get him. I don't know.

 

Shockwave (like the voyager) is bought on sight. Starscream looks like kinda terrorsaur-ish, but still looks like a happy meal toy. pass

 

I was only referring to the underside of the tip of the barrel of the gun. Although that was my fault for not saying as such. There isn't any indication that if you look at the underside of his cannon arm that it will be hollow. Considering it appears he might have some launching gimmick whether it's spring loaded or otherwise, I don't think it will have a huge gaping underside.

 

Yeah he had a nicer shade of purple on him, and his eye wasn't as beady looking...

 

All Cyberverse needs is a Legion-class Starscream and Commander-class Breakdown and I will sing its praises to the skies.

I agree. Working on the Breakdown issue. Starscream likely is what he is.....

I wish Shockwave had a translucent chest and eye like the Voyager. Would have likely had them if they kept the style of translucent parts from last year. I still love Cyberverse, but not feeling the paint apps on the Commanders as much.

 

I think the closest thing we'll ever get to a legion scale Starscream is that micron boomerang Starscream that was in wave 3 I think.

Breakdown at least there's a fan mod that can make him taller. There's really nothing that can be done to mod starscream to make him smaller.

 

It's kinda weird how Cyberverse Shockwave's proportions are slightly more show accurate than the Voyager with the smaller head and higher shoulders.

AND it looks like he'll have a movable cannon in alt mode, unlike the voyager.

Is it me or does Shockwave appear to lack knee articulation?

 

I think he does though, if you zoom in it looks like there's a ball joint in the socket. It's hard to see if you just glance since his legs are so dang beefy. Hang on a sec I'll snatch a screenshot.

Although looking at the other knee it looks like he doesn't though. I'm sticking with he has knees for now.

 

Perhaps you just like DOTM in general better? If you're not a fan of the Prime and BH aesthetic it makes sense that the toys wouldn't do anything for you.

 

DOTM Shockwave is good enough as my stand in with my Prime Cyberverse collection, but it's definitely getting replaced when this great mold comes out.
