ew, forgoing the cheap one piece sword and keep the complex yet ugly ass-cannon, smart decision there botcon.
This is the first year I am NOT jealous that I can't go to Botcon. This set does nothing for me. Outside of Megaplex kinda sorta.
Do we know what the customizer class figures will be since there will be four of them? These are good, not great, mind you, since to me they don't evoke the Machine Wars vibe in the bricktacular, non firing missiled, insanely over the top way that the originals did, but I am at least curious to see if they're holding back some of the really interesting molds for the class. On a side note, I do love that artwork.
The figures in general don't interest me so far, I only like the looks of Strika and Hoist so far, but not enough to spend a load on at the mo. The artwork's nice though, so I guess I can enjoy the usual brain-numbing comic!!
There is not going to be four of them. Just one - same as before. There are going to be four classes if that is what you mean. But each class has the same figure.
If Strika and Skywarp looked nearly this good in their toy forms... I'd want them. That said... Megaplex still sporting Dreadwing's head in the art... blech... you'd think they'd have at least given Josh the option to give him a more appropriate noggin'. (Clone of Megatron should sport Megatron's face after all!)
In conjunction with character art, BotCon has revealed this year's apparel as well: The Transformers Collectors' Convention - BotCon 2013!
