You are on the people I hate list, along with Matt Moylan, 1984forever, that chick on The Allspark 14000 Years or something like that, and others. Seriously? You think Invasion was better than The Stunti-Con Job? You obvioulsy have no sense of quality, and plus, Animated Strika isn't even the same Strika, so good day, sir. *Slams door.*

I'm confused about all this argument. This is Machine Wars not Beast Wars or Beast Machines (or Animated). Isn't it pretty open ended on the continuity?

Nah, people are just confused since she's an Autobot. They probably think since she was a Vehicon when she was introduced, she was a Vehicon, so she has to be a Decepticon, without remembering what they said in their introductory episode.

I don't get that. Were Silverbolt, Rhinox or Waspinator Decepticons? Yeah, there was the horrid Animated Botcon comic. It should be ignored.

I think people are just used to associating the character with being a villain. Both of her past incarnation have been depicted as antagonists to the heroes.

It should be interesting to see how this is handled.

I liked her Animated version too. :p

He looks way more lugnut to me. That digi bash earlyer basically nailed it for me, anything else will feel like a let down now.

I was hoping for a helicopter mode for him... Lugnut looks good too, but we shall see. It's going to be one of the two...

I'm thinking the Highbrow mold seems more likely for Obsidian, given its dual propellers. It makes a weirdly logical sense that since the original Highbrow and Obsidian were both Osprey-type vehicles, they would be re-interpreted as the same mold... even if that mold isn't the kind of vehicle they were originally.

If it IS the Highbrow mold, I'll be please, I like that mold. Actually, any of the three likely candidates (Highbrow, Lugnut, and Skyhammer) would be fine by me... they're all good molds. I'd rather see Skyhammer saved for a character like Rotorstorm or Whirl, though. And despite being a plane instead of a helicopter, I've always thought Lugnut would make a good Classics Blackout.

No molds from the first movie since the license belongs to Paramount.

The Highbrow mold would be fine as well, but wouldn't the colors be almost identical to Powerdive?

I get the want for a helicopter mode, hell I would love for a gen update of him and Stryker in their BM forms but and this is just to me the robot modes are so much closer with lugnuts, he has the engines on his shoulder that match up well the BM heli blades, the long fingers, the guns on the side of his chest much like the single gun his toy had, lot of nice little qs that match up which I can't see as well with the others.

I'll give its true skyhammer has missile pods and his legs aren’t that far from obsidians.

Highbrow gets the rotors on his arms even if they are more on the for arms than shoulder and his legs and chest aren’t a bad match…

Damn I’ve sold myself on them all working now but I still like lugnuts best out of the 3 and he’s still the one I want to see re painted most.

I agree that out of the 3 molds, Lugnut is my favorite.

    Guess not! :p

(Having never watch BM, I actually had no idea which version of Obsidian was the show-accurate version... seems people would have preferred that, but like you said, it would look very much like Powerdive.)
