I'm keeping my Warbot Defender and getting the official Springer. One will go with the S3 cast, the other will go with the Wreckers, I just haven't decided which will go where.

 

So is Astrotrain actually going to be Blitzwing? Or are they doing him too?

 

The Roche one should go with the Wreckers obviously!

This is all very confusing. So are we correct to assume we're getting a G1 Springer and Blitzwing and NOT a FoC Springer and Astrotrain? And that RobotKingdom made a mistake with their preorder page?

If so, sucks for them. Sucks for me too, kinda! I really wanted that FoC Springer!

 

Not a bad springer (toy fair) but definitely not the bulky and cool looking like the robotkingdom drawing (robotkingdom.com -- Online Toys Company). So doubted me that it'd be a brighter green for the kids, no pointy pieces, and majorly reduced the paint apps? But i was wrong about hollow back, they just made his torso skinny

 

You expect different from a retailer that came on the boards and told us that the GDO Voyagers and scouts weren't gonna hit US retail much, if at all? I don't.

My guess is that Astrotrain is still happening but they just didn't announce him, and that yeah they said FOC instead of Generations. Robotkingdom actually lists ALL the 2012 Generations toys as 'Fall of Cybertron' rather than Generations, so maybe they saw it was in the same line and just assumed it was FoC.

Dude you pretty much nailed it. I can't wait for that Springer and Blitzwing, still I hope down the road we get a new Astrotrain in voyager size.

I think they may have shown wrongly as in actual fact,they are issuing Blitzwing instead of Astrotrain

 

Who knows we are early in the "reveals" season. An Astrotrain still might be coming, though not in this first wave of Voaygers.

And holy crap, but I'm over the moon to be right in my speculation that RK had the listing wrong and that these are classics and not FoC under the Generations banner.

 

A rep at toyfair supposedly said that astrotrain was a placeholder name for blitzwing which is odd but perhaps Hasbro were making an effort to ensure blitzwing would be a surprise, well I was certainly surprised!

As for the foc part, I'd hazard a guess that was just an assumption on robot Kingdoms part as that's what Hasbro was doing at the time.

 

Man this new Springer really makes me want Igear's Presser more than ever.

 

What ever happened to that Impactor anyways? I haven't heard from Igear since last year.

 

They purposely come out Springer is to beat down the Defender.
