Shockwave! This might just be the only Beast Hunters figure, aside from the Supreme Predaking that I will buy. I can't wait to see him.

 

i wondered about that too at first, but then I realized that it seemed kinda nonsensical for the show's producers to promote the Predacons (plural) as a whole new faction if only Predaking was going to appear. Not that I think every single toy character will make it in, of course, but at least a couple anyway.

And as for the limbs part, I think you may be onto something.

 

Huh. Kinda makes me fear a Hasbro release, since we USUALLY get a Hasbro confirmation before a Takara one, right?
Eh, a feeling in my gut tells me Hasbro will make one.

 

This is good news. I'm hoping he has more of a clean look rather than the spikes and what not. I suppose I can get rid of my extra FOC Shockwave now.

They just did it with their release of the Prime Cyberverse toys as EZ figures, all in the same EZ line together.

However, the EZ versions of the Commander class figures did have a different price point than the Legions. These new EZ listings all being the same price should mean they're all the same Legion/Legends scale, which increases the odds that some of these are Classics redecos rather than new molds.

Usually yes, we do find out about Hasbro releases first, but it's not unprecedented that a Takara release gives us an indication of a product that we didn't know existed before that Hasbro does release down the pike. I can't remember the last specific example, but there have been instances where a Takara preorder beat news of a Hasbro release that did eventually happen.

I don't see any reason to worry about a Hasbro Voyager Shockwave yet. If Toyfair comes and goes with no news of it before or during that show, then start worrying.

To be fair, his design in TFP was already pretty spiky looking to begin with.

 

I alllllllmost pulled the trigger on AM-29 last week. So glad I didn't. Now I just hope he isn't all wack looking.

Yup, particularly his head "horns", wings, and his ribbed/segmented arm cannon hose were spiked out.

what i really want to see is the large scale predaking.. that figure is going to make or break the line for me.

.. from what we've seen of it so far, it's definitely making the line for me rather than breaking it. the new voyager prime looks awesome.. so, hopefully we'll see some really cool stuff at toy fair.

also, i wonder if the characters are going to look the way their figures do.
