Also, I can't for the life of me get the outer forearm pieces(the part that the cannon attaches to) separated from the clear purple parts. I don't want to force it, but they don't seem to want to come apart.

 

I couldn't get it apart either. You just have to paint carefully in those areas or tape the crap out of it. I chose the lazy method.

 

Yeah, upon closer inspection, looks like they're super glued together at the upper port.   Sucks. Looks like I'll have to do that.

 

Well, here is mine so far.

Mostly finished. Have to touch up some paint. I'm considering painting the feet black. I'm thinking of maybe painting the upper arms purple too. You can't see them in the pic but I left them mostly unpainted. I'll do a full gallery once it's 100% finished. Also, because of the weight of the new chest, the legs are really loose. So I'll probably have to try thickening the ball-joint or something.

No, this version is retired. It wasn't designed to be a regular release like my other stuff. I would like to make a totally new version though, with additional parts. The original concept had two faces, 1 for classics style, and 1 for PRIME style, which came with the kit. Plus new shoulder pads, which are easy to install. At this time, I don't plan to go through with the new version.

 

I really really REALLY hope you'll reconsider that Venksta!
