You do realise that the British Toy Fair is trade and traditional press only with the Hasbro stand normally needing an appointment booked via your rep in advance in order to be shown around the "back room" where they have most of the goods. They check for leaked photographs during the day which is why they closed their back room when the G.I.Joe movie cards were leaked a few years back.

It use to be easier to get a press pass but they have tightened up on that now and Hasbro tightened up on who they will allow to see the backroom so not even all retailers can get in.

There will also be some Transformers talking plushes shown at the show as well on other stands as well as new licensed games

That is one sexy design, it'll never be seen as a toy.

OK that picture is 100% new to me and with a rocking Prime. Also, it appears that something is going on with the gun, more than just being a one solid piece of plastic gun.

*edit* The more I look at the gun I see blue parts and something that can be the 6 wheels. I think this Prime is drawn with a Roller that transforms into his gun. I really hope this is box art for a new Classics Prime vs just a random promotional drawing (which they are not really known to do)

Oh let them return to Classics and give us the damn Trailbreaker and Hoist. I really miss collecting official Classics figures, I would venture to say that that is the line that Hasbro has the most wins in.

That's one interesting looking Optimus Prime. I wonder how it'll translate into toy-form, and what size-class it'll be. I'm also curious to see what's all going on with that gun. Should be interesting to see what all get's revealed for Generations.

Yeah, looks like IDW Prime......the gun screams "toy-design" though.

If this and Stealth Bomber Megatron are the next wave of Generations Voyagers....sign me up.

I think sometimes things leak before New York Toyfair even if UK Toyfair is a dam squib that perhaps isn't even worth having any longer and is perhaps best move to a decent European venue rather than try to seriously maintain a proper show in a country of increasingly diminishing importance like the UK.. especially when Hasbro Europe (in France now) has primacy over UK Hasbro and Germany's toy show is probably better run and more likely to attract international visitors due to it's more central location anyway besides if they can't show anything they must be loosing sales and to be honest if the UK retailers got off their backside and went to the US we'd all get more interesting toys in the stores in the UK anyway. The only thing I can say about the UK Toyfair is at least it is corporate to not be as flooded with twee wooden toys, Trainsets, collectors dolls and other niche items as some of the European ones sometimes are.

But I think the UK Toyfair just like UK Hasbro is long past it's (Pardon the pun) 'Prime'

All I want from UK Toy Fair is for someone to tell us when our damn MP-10s will be released here. It's taking the piss now.

I imagine we should hear something over the next couple of days. If not pics, then at least a description of what was on show. Hopefully anyway.
