Yeah, I can't afford another Hercules, but if it clocks in cheaper, I'll bite.

i dont think its fair to compare this to herc, despite not having seen much else.
name one herc bot that looks this good. we're in new territory, as far as detail on a 3rd party voyager combiner.
plus there's only 5 of em.
this is preordered on sight. budget be damned....although i wouldnt mind if they made that ball joint on the shoulder a little thicker...

    oh man...just noticed...

If those shoulders are anything like front end loader, I'm out. that was a terrible design. they look different...i hope

not so much worried about the style, but its just bad business to make a stress point so thin. whatever is attaching the arm to the ball will necessarily be load-bearing, no clue why youd want it that thin AND long. Ill assume they know what theyre doing because Im going to buy it anyway.

I like the way the Herculoids look, but that's beside the point. If they are as pricey as Hercules, I'm out. I just cannot and will not afford it. Doesn't really matter how awesome they look.

Of course, I said the same thing about Hercules, but I think I've learned my lesson on that count.

And yeah, that shoulder joint's been bugging me since those pics were first released. :(

What is suppose to be the scale for Predaking? I'm watching Headmasters and all the combiners are the same size. Also, Predaking is getting his a** whooped by everyone.

I think people are referring to toy scale where Predaking was biggest among the combiners.

I recall in season 3, Predaking was so big, he moved in slow motion.

Is that from a comic or is that just an artist's rendition? I read on the TF cartoon wiki that some G1 fans don't consider Headmasters as part of the canon.

It's from the Dreamwave Run of the comics, they done a series of posters and that was one of them.

Nerds will be nerds when it comes to "canon" and in the end it depends on what you like. As some good people on this board have said "My Collection my rules!". It's what you view as being important that matters.

For many US fans the headmaster series feels disconnected - rightly so as the overseas character histories and to some extent personalities differed - that said - what's important to one person is important to one person....

just make up your own shit. i adapt what i want from whatever continuity i want for whatever reason i want. its fun. :)

to me Predaking is the biggest and the best. the most dangerous combiner, the most skilled group of hunters in the galaxy. probably MORE badass than they have EVER been dipicted in any form of transformers media. to me they are the combiner equivalent of sixshot and they would work together sometimes. mmc is really my favorite third party right now for tackling some of my favorite characters.

... and the price they gave us sixshot for? freakin awesome. if they get these predacons down around $75 each they are going to sell A LOT of bots. :)

and some US fans have embraced the japanese trilogy as the rightful heir of awesomeness to the original sunbow toon. my son and i love those toons. he is rapidly learning to read the english captions.
