    He's not as ugly as City Commander. I'll give him that. Too small for UM though.

    Looks pretty cool, and I'm glad he's not just a white Optimus.

    Just slightly too bad there's another Ultra Magnus model in the game itself that I feel is a ton times cooler than this one, so that immediately lowers my interest in this toy. :(  Still, might get it for the sword!

    Damn I can't open mine til Christmas, the wife has hidden it some where, looks fracking awesome though, better than prime and I love the sword.

    Which version is the third party upgrade supposed to match with? Does it matter?

    But thanks to James Roberts and his continuous world building I'm thinking about just calling him "Delta Magnus" to make up for his size. Granted Delta is a totally different bot but this dwarf figure doesn't feel like a true Ultra Magnus anyway. So Delta it is....

    I might get this, if the add-on interests me. But until then, I'm getting the Takara version anyway. I'm really looking forward to it. It's been a long time since I was really happy of a new figure, although I hate how small he is. Funny how Kup and Rodimus will tower over him.

    Man, I wish the Prime Magnus had used that shade of blue. I hate the FoC Prime. HATE it. So why do I want this!?!?

    Fall of Cybertron Ultra Magnus also goes great with Prime Ultra Magnus' giant hammer - though it is a bit heavy for him so is a real mare to balance the toy while holding it!

    I had thought of getting only the Takara FoC figures, but for Ultra Magnus I am tempted to add the relatively minor expense of his Hasbro counterpart. Maybe I'm tempted to become something of an Ultra Magnus completist. :D

    It's rather curious. To me, it looks better than the original. It's as if the mold was more suited for Ultra Magnus than Prime. I don't know, it just works for me.

    This is going to be my Ultra Magnus. Defintely grabbing him when I see him and I honestly like him as UM better than the Prime fig.

    Saw this at retail today, along with Sideswipe and Starscream! Prices for each are $649NT (Taiwan).

    Anyone know where a good spot to post stuff like this I see at retail and think it might be news? Don't care about a news credit, but could post it as a news thread -- however, I also don't want to be creating useless 'non-news' news threads. I think a lot of the time things are released here at the same time as Hong Kong.
