    Even if it's just a new kind of bot on the show it will be something different. Then everyone can either be happy or not. As long as Scott McNeil gets a role in this series I will be happy.

    So it's not really the writers fault that they screwed up the whole what it means to be a Prime when really the whole fanbase misinterpreted the whole thing....Damn.

    Transformers are spose to be about cars and jets, and tanks etc. not bloody beasts!!!

    actually Transformers is about robots that transform into things (anything can happen) and beat the holy snot out of each other.

    I was watching the interviews on the season 2 DVD set and one of the creative team members stated that the reason they named it Prime is because it is the prime universe of Transformers. It takes elements from all of the previous lore to create the ultimate Transformers continuity. I guess thats what Prime means

    I agree. Thats why I love the Aligned Continuity. It's essentially the definiton of Transformers. I love that about it. It takes everything we love from previous continuity and combines them into a new continuity. Itms such an awesome concept. Some will say it's unoriginal but we've seen alot of new things (Dinobots back story, Star Seekers, Unicron being Earth, Dark Energon to name a few)
