I like the way Kickback looks and may grab him for my CHUG coolection. Sideswipe is neat but not sure I need him. He is still a possibility. The rest are passes.

 

Starscream will be mine, come Christmas. I can't quit saying it; his WFC/FOC design is killer. I'll probably get Sideswipe too, even though I have Jazz. I'm one of the few who actually like the figure, despite its iffy legs.

 

It seems Airraid and Deadend are Hasbro's go-to names.

Like GDO scout Wildrider. Colors and bio are Wildrider, but he's called Deadend.

 

those weapons.   I absolutely love the fact that they break down into smaller ones. going got Takara's shiny versions thou. that way I can get them next year and save up my cash in the process.

These figures are being released after the FoC game. Therefore, the characters should be game accurate. So let's see.

Ultra Magnus-....Wow...I haven't even started the list and there's already a worthless fucking REPAINT. The figure looks NOTHING like FoC design. 0/10 FAIL!

Starscream- Beautiful robot mode. Though I wish they had made it so the weapons actually cover his hands which isn't a hard concept. A simple mechanic where the hand folds into the wrist and reveals some sort of tab or hole where the weapons can attach. You know...Like SHOCKWAVE?! The jet mode is decent and I like the design. But...You can't switch from hover mode to boost mode. Again Hasbro, not a hard thing to do. If the gears on the gun can turn, That would be beautiful. 8/10 Will buy.

Sideswipe-fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck...........Did they even LOOK at the game designs for these fucking characters? Did they SERIOUSLY look at them?! 0/10 FAIL!

Kickback- Good effort. I like the overall concept. 7/10 might buy.

Air Raid-I'm done........just....fucking DONE WITH HASBRO! I didn't think it was possible. I honestly didn't think it was possible. Not only did they fuck up. But this...THIS just kills me. Not out of laughter. Just, this is what has become of Hasbro. I'm in so much pain. It's this kind of shit that seriously wants me to just give up on Transformers. YOU HAD ONE JOB! ONE FUCKING JOB AND YOU COULDN'T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT! This deserves a FIRST EVER -84/10. That's right. This is so bad, it gets a NEGATIVE score.

If you look at them just as TFs...they looks pretty chinsy to me. Starscream has a cheap look in those pics thats hard to describe. Like...those cheap toys we got out of cereal boxes in the 80's cheap.

I agree - but TFP made me a Starscream fanboy - not sure about the rest of the figs though, but UM's sword of doom looks pretty swank...

 

Man, the 80's must've had some nice cereal toys. All the ones in the 90's that I remember had zero articulation, much less the ability to transform. Or were straws or some crap.
... then again, I think those toys had more paint than these things. Which is sad since they were literally an inch tall.

I was thinking about passing on him, but after seeing those in-hand pictures of Ultra Magnus...it's going to be rather hard for me to pass him up. I've already got a spot cleared for him on my Autobot shelf (Grimlock too for that matter). Hopefully this wave isn't too hard to find at retail...

 

I kind of want to get Magnus and Sideswipe just so I can swap their weapons.

 

Was only going to get Sideswipe,Starscream and Kickback,but that Magnus might of changed my mind with that giant sword...

Anyone else wanna see Starscream have the two guns on each of his arms to make null rays?

 

These all look great! Starscream and Sideswipe have me excited the most out of the entire assortment.

You are seriously over-exaggerating. There are good excuses for these.

He is usually a repaint of Optimus. Hasbro accomplished that. The toy design was finished before Hasbro got their hands on his in-game design.
Otherwise they would have at LEAST given him an accurate head.

-Starscream
I'm just gonna mention that his guns DO rotate, it's right on the box.
Also, Starscream is pretty much the only one where you can have a hover mode, since his hover mode in the game is pretty much just his wings folding down slightly, and as far as I can tell, you can do that.
Seriously, why would you so heavily expect a hover mode, as if there ever has been one for any of these?

Hasbro is obviously low on money in some way, and the last thing you should expect right now is a new mold for a character like this. Not to mention that we get a huge gun, and the design is also close enough.

Here, you must realize that he is NOT AIR RAID.
The mistake here is not the 0% accuracy, it's that they changed his name from Fireflight.

That's the biggest reason I'm getting these. Funny thing is, they both have Optimus weapons.
And the good part is they'll both have their own weapons, I don't have to give Optimus Magnus' gun, just the sword, and I can give Optimus' gun to Sideswipe.
