    Couldn't agree w you more.

    Made the original a bit top heavy-hope they modify the design to resolve the balance issues. If the metal needs to be ditched, so be it.

    I would have been much more excited about diecast if they'd used it on the outside.

    I'm not anti die cast at all. It just happens that in this particular case I don't think it worked out so well.

    Just checked my Alternity Convoy...the balance issues weren't as bad as I remembered, but it's def there due to the weight of the metal. It does add a "heft" if you will to the toy-feels like you're handling a much bigger TF. But if they're re-using the mold, it'd be cool to see some improvements.

    This thing is a cool little bugger though. Really pushed the design/engineering envelope.

    The leg ratchets on this thing are incredible.

    I think the reason why it is so expensive because it has the diecast content.
