I just wished the Prime Voyagers could now go back to the size too.

 

Assuming you see this Razor24, I have a question. That black gun that comes with both Soundwave and Soundblaster, can Classics Optimus Prime hold it? It reminds me of G1 Optimus's gun, and I would be tempted to give it to my Classics Optimus if I were to get either one of these two. I could then attach his current gun to his back as his smokestacks.

Really? well that just....sucks. They're even pictured holding them on the back of the box...

The more I look at the figures, the more I think I'll actually get the Blaster figure, and probably pass on both Soundwave and Soundblaster. Though that might change when I see them in-person...

 

It sure is strange, I wonder why they pulled it from the final product?
Doesn't really change my opinion on the figure though, didn't really think Soundwave should have an ion cannon anyway!
In the end, I'll probably get Soundwave, Soundblaster and Blaster. I'm hoping for a Twincast too, although that may be pushing the mold a little.

 

Doesn't really affect my opinion of the figure either. It's just one less incentive to buy a figure I'm kinda...eh...on as it is.

I would love to see the Blaster retool repainted in Twincast's deco. As-is, my Autobot shelf is getting a little....red, so the blue would help diversify it a bit. I would definitely skip Blaster if they were to reveal a Twincast figure. I don't think it would put the mold in arm of degradation necessarily, but with three uses of the mold already slotted for the first two waves of the line, a fourth use might be a bit much for mass retail.

 

The gimmick is manual. You push the 'spine' lever in manually to eject the discs. His chest can store I think up to 3 at once and when you push the lever in all 3 will pop out and transform.

The discs (or pucks as I like to call them) pop out of their alt modes very easily. So the sheer force of them being pushed out of his chest is enough to cause them to transform. Unfortunately the landing is the issue and 9 out of 10 times so far Laserbeak has transformed and landed head first and onto his back hahaha!

Yeah the gun wasn't included mate. Did you not see my nerd rage in the first pictorial post I did?  

Probably due to cost savings. I noticed the promo pics for the TakTomy release of these guys show them without the gun. Being a later release than the Hasbro version, I guess they will be able to show him without the gun on the box.

Truth be told, Soundwave only has 1 place for weapon storage in vehicle mode anyway (mounting point on the roof). If he came with 2 guns then the 2nd one would just be floating around somewhere whenever he was in vehicle mode

 

I will admit, I didn't actually read what you had typed, just looked at the plethora of pictures you provided. The lack of them in the pictures had me curious, but I was curious. Didn't think to go back and see if you had said anything about them...

You might have to wait till one of the regular youtubers get these guys for a video review. I expect Peaugh or Optibotimus (who have access to first release dibs from their sponsors) will be getting these before they become available in December so keep your eyes out for them.

soundblaster and wave both look great. dunno why people are bitching. this is probably one of the greatest looking hasbro releases. i don't see people bitching about the 10000000000 optimus primes.
