I seldom like all gold or all metallic TFs, but with that said I actually really like the look of Blingwave here.

 

Great band, nice repaint. Probably too much for what it is, though.

MIMB.... For a 4-year old? Why? Unless he's going to enjoy it from behind glass,there's really no reason to sweat over MIMB. Not trying to say your desire to give him a "new" one is il-conceived, but really, I have a 5-year-ol niece and she doesn't much care if it came in a brand new box, so long as its a transformer and it came from me. Save yourself some money and find one from a good seller that's been opened and/or displayed or whatever. Unless your kid plans to keep it in the box when he's done playing with it (ad let's be honest, it will probably live in the bed, in the toy box, or on the floor), you really don't even need to get one in the box.

Just my 2-cents and I promise I'm just offering advice, not questioning your enthusiasm for presenting your kid with an awesome toy (G1 sound wave was so cool!). Good luck on the hunt!
