That's pretty good, actually. I like Turbine better, but the comedic appeal of Blowhard does have a charm. If you're going with a Classics/Igear fusion collection... yeah. Huffer is still too tiny though. And the PCC version doesn't feel right. zmog
or gears is just too big, personal preference, i'm glad i have the hasbro brawn, since these designs still look like legends, even if they're upsized
I think that Legends sized minibots are hardly better than a Legends Prowl or Jazz. They just don't cut it, in size or design. I don't know why anyone would prefer a Brawn with 4 points of articulation to a proper scout/deluxe sized version. And they are munchkins compared to Deluxe figures, far beyond the degree of their G1 versions. To keep things in perspective and counter that old nonsense about "minibots should be mini", contemporary deluxes are now considerably larger than G1 Diaclone cars (their obvious corollary), so I fail to see why minibots should stay the same diminutive size that they were in the 80's. And really, to say that that the Mini-Warriors "look like Legends" in any way other than actual physical size is flat out crazy. In terms of engineering and articulation, these things are Scouts. And rather nice ones at that. zmog
HOLY CATS!! Gears (Cogs) has always been my favorite character. The Brawn (Hench) looks cool and I hope they resize the Huffer (Rager) to match Swerve, Pipes, and Outback. Hell, if they offered them in two packs like the Takara UN27 Windcharger and Wipeout.
C'mon... much too tame for this crowd. I say with the language barrier and all why not just go all the way: IGear's Windcharger= BLOW-JOB If you think about it the word broken apart and out of context with the act we all know it to be makes quite a bit of sense... as a possible Transformer. I'm just sayin...
Yup, wouldn't take long before it appeared here. I have a feeling we'll hear more after Brawn/Cosmos are hitting our doorsteps in a few weeks. Instant pre-order tho.
i check their site everyday, just waiting for that release date to change. i remember them moving the goalpost on the ratchet / ironhide every other week or so. i'm really hoping they stick to their guns on the new MW's.
No-one knows but now Brawn and Cosmos are out I'd be expecting news soon.....possibly even a date on a slip in the ones out in the mail right now?
I compared the digital pics of Rager and Cogz, and just judging by the size of their respective wheels I think they might be around the same size. A lot of people keep harping on the idea thatall the MW's going forward are going to be big like Hench, but that means that Cogs would be a monster truck, but I just don't see it in the design. Also, does Duneraker look like he'll be huge? I think he'll be smaller relative to Hench.
