I do try to be mature about this. But gaaaawwwdddd... why were both books crammed into the ass-end of the month? The wait is brutal!

 

We needed the next issue like a month ago  

 

My God, is this what waiting issue-to-issue feels like for every comic buyer? No wonder I used to stick to trades.

 

I know. Hopefully the surge in quality means a surge in readers which means a surge in Hasbro officially recognising more comic elements and designs for other things which hopefully means IDW keeps up this quality.

I must know what happens to poor little Tailgate.

 

Haha, it is a great time to be a TF comic fan! Honestly, the only other comics I look forward to as much these days are Daredevil and Batman  

 

A medic jet would rock so hard.

 

Man I keep trying to get my friends to read these series but they aren't interested. DC is hogging all their interests.

 

I somehow, finally, got my wife to read Last Stand of the Wreckers, and now she *wants* to read this. My head almost exploded.

Also, I managed to talk one of the Nerdist Comic Book Club guys into giving MTMTE another chance. Hoping they at least mention it on the podcast. This run needs to get more attention.

 

Are they familiar with the TF universe? It's harder if they aren't. But if they were, I find it hard to believe that DC hogs all their interests. I dumped everything other than Batman with the new reboot.

 

Same, and with this stupid new event going on I might just drop Batman as well.

 

It's not so bad.

I drive 18 wheelers all week and have an 18 month old at home.

I used to try to unwind on the weekend with my comics while I'd be bored out of my mind waiting for shippers/recivers to load and unload me.

then I had a eureka (or a Duh!) moment!

Now I keep my comics in my briefcase and catch up while I'm waiting to get loaded.
Slows down my reading too, so I might get 1-2 books in a day instead of all at once on a Wensday night bender.
(you could even say I'm getting paid to read, since I'm hourly even when getting loaded.)

Paitence,,, it comes with age.

 

That's great for you and all, but I still want my comic.

Patience, doesn't make me get my comic any faster.
