You wouldn't happen to know what shipping method USAGround is do you?

I don't have an account and I can't seem to correlate it to one of the shipping options in their FAQ -- if its USPS, no thanks :lol

Generally he ships to me via USPS. But that's because we are in the same state about 2 hours from eachother. So it doesn't really matter how it gets shipped. I get it next day.

Though he has used FedEx several times.

If you put in more then they have on the site you get the asterix that means you have too many in your cart, much like with iGear...it doesn't auto-correct like BBTS.

Oh come on, you can't honestly think that 50 bucks for what is essentially an eraser tip is justifiable.

Especially when there are cheaper alternatives that look better.

I think it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Just like everything else in this hobby.
Much like the custom class figure. To me it is not worth the $1000 that some have sold for. I can customize a rts jazz into the same toy. The official one is of course worth more. But why would I pay for it when I can make one myself. AND it will look better than the official version!

For the slow people in the thread, the price was lowered to $35.

And for the non-believers in the thread, the price was only lowered after The TFCC anounced a second run of the headbands.

Yes, when will people realize worth and value are not set by some book. They are relative to any unique buyer or seller

Stop spreading your crap. I was texting the owner when he was talking about the mistake being made. The rerun had nothing whatsoever to do with it.

The message he sent me about the mistake on both the headband and freebie price error was at 730 am.

That's not crap, it's a very justifiable observation given the circumstances.

It is crap because it is wrong, yet being spread as truth.

Sorry but many people find it hard to believe it was a mistake. Regardless of whether or not you were texting the owner.

Provide proof other than your word and you will effectively change the view of many.

    Here ya go,

He mentioned earlier in our conversation that a mistake had been made, but this is when he specifically said it was the headband and freebie.

A full half hour before the tweet. He does not do his own programming, he has staff do it for him. Any changes on his website are not instantaneous. Took 2 hours for this change to take effect.

He also mentioned the PITA it was to get the headbands.

I cut off his info because I don't think he wants it out there.

Hope that helps a few of you drop the pitchforks.

Yup. SoCal is plagued with Toy Arena, they scour TRU, Walmart and Target, and suck 'em try (not just Transformers), they especially seem to put up a fight in the North OC area.

I'm in SoCal and never have an issue getting anything I am looking for... In fact I'm totally caught up on botshots and Prime. :D

Course I am a bit more south than you.

I hear the worst of the retailers as far as scouring stores is BBTS. Guess that's the nature of living in the same area as an online toy store.

Honestly, I think you'd be hard pressed to find an online retailer who DIDN'T scour stores for new product.

It's just easy money if you happen to grab some Vehicons off the pegs, in addition to your normal stock, you know?

Totally agree. I was the first one that mentioned that the botcon figures were decently priced.

I find it ironic that in the text message he clearly states the headbands were limited to one per dealer so he had to have all of his employees line up for one.
